Nando's Tile

Nando was great! He arrived on time each day and completed the work on schedule, even though it rained every day during installation. The floor looks great - about 600 sq ft of porcelain tile installed diagonally. Nando let us know what to expect ahead of time (e.g. when the washer/dryer would be inaccessible, what door to use on what day, etc.) His price was very fair and we feel like we got great value for our money!

Nando and crew did a fantastic job, were on-time and delivered on all committments. I had to change the scope of the project and these changes were handled professionally and fully. I would recommend Nando and will plan to use him and his crew again. Note: Nando himself laid the tile, and with 20 or so years of experience, the job quality was great!

Excellent job. Reasonable price for hard, fast workers. Nando does most of the work himself, and he plans ahead, considers the outcome, and does a great job figuring out the best layout for the job. His grout lines are excellent, and he even did a great job when a few pieces of our tile were slightly different in size from the rest of the batch. (and more of the original batch were no longer available.) Because of this, the grout lines of course had to be wider, to make up for the slightly smaller tile. He blended it beautifully and we are very pleased with his work. He kept the area very clean the entire time.

Nando is certainly flexible and personable and he completed the job on time. I thought his execution of the installation was sloppy - I asked for 1/8" grout lines and some tiles have huge variances off of this grout line. In addition, some of the tiles are somewhat crooked and there are corners on tiles that are not level so there are some peaks. this was a simple floor layout, no fancy designs or corners. So there was no excuse for less than perfect execution.

Nando was EXTREMELY patient during our escrow experience. After close he quickly began our project and him and his crew did OUTSTANDING work. They did a versaille pattern that turned out beautiful. We could not be happier with our experience with Nando and his crew. We would highly recommend using him and we would not hesitate using him for future tile projects around our house. Ken (Nando's employee), was very meticulous and detail oriented when laying the tile and was a huge asset to the success of our project. If you want a beautiful tile job - use Nando and his crew. His price beat all other companies I researched.
