Jake and team did a fantastic job finishing our basement. He did a phenomenal job tinkering with his quote to hit our target budget while still providing ample room to get quality bathroom hardware (faucets, tile flooring, countertops, etc). His focus on accomplishing a quality job shines through - he even went so far as to point out an error he made after everything was completed: a closet door opened to the left and blocked the light switch for the closet - the switch should've been on the right side for easy access. It would've been so easy to just pretend it was fine and the annoyance would be ours to deal with - but no, Jake fixed the issue (door opens to the right now) at no extra cost to us. Simply phenomenal. His contractors were also polite and professional. And when the contractors damaged some of our personal items, Jake ensured those items were fixed or replaced. We fully intend to contact Jake again whenever we're ready to remodel the rest of the house!

We have used Mycke Custom Homes for three remodeling projects; a master bathroom, a basement, and a deck/outdoor space. Jake was wonderful to work with and is very thorough in his work. Jake is great with communication throughout the project. He is trustworthy and ensures that his work is 110%. We will definitely continue to use Jack for any remodeling projects!.

Everything was on schedule and on budget. There were no delays, and no hidden charges. Jake kept us informed through the entire process, and he was easily accessible for any questions we had. We love the design and quality of our new basement. We couldn't have asked for a smoother experience, and Jake will be our first choice for any future projects.

We decided that our first project on our new home would be to finish the basement which consisted of a bedroom/bathroom/furnace storage room/living and a gear room. Since the bedroom/bath were done but not up to code we decided to gut and start over. After meeting with multiple contractors we decided to go with Mycke. Although a bit higher than some, we felt comfortable with his professionalism, honesty, the layout of his timeline and budget and fingers crossed, we would get what we paid for. Everything was on time and on budget. We also wanted a contractor that would give us their honest opinions on fixtures, colors, ideas as well and he did just that. He picked our paint color, our barn door (our original plan fell thru and he actually had a perfect one for us in storage) and helped us with fixtures among other things. This was our first renovation and we couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Jake Mycke and his wife Lisa to help you with your project.

Jake is a man of his word! He listened to what our needs and wants were then added some ideas of his own. It was a smaller basement, yet he made use of every inch. He only had five weeks to complete in time for visiting family which was a tall order, but he said he could do it and he did. It exceeded our expectations! We hired Jake to remodel 3 bathrooms in our home. All three required significant work, including taking our large master bathroom down to the studs and completely changing the layout requiring all new electrical and plumbing including installing a steam shower. Not only was Jake's work top quality, he was extremely professional. He was incredibly responsive, honest and hard working. Every subcontractor he brought into our home was equally professional.
