In early September 2009 Tom Murphy undertook a raft of handyman assignments for my wife and I, just two days into our arrival as newcomers to Staunton, VA. He was cordial, helpful, informative and very reasonable in offering price quotes on the phone. In person he was friendly, professional, courteous and efficient in the extreme. He offered several alternative courses of action for each job, spelled out the costs and benefits of each, and made a cogent recommendation with our specific goals in mind. He and his colleague Rod worked quickly, demonstrating very astute problem solving capabilities. I recommend him unreservedly.
