Norberto helped me with 2 projects: replacing the chain-link fence with a wooden fence, and fix some of the old rotten posts and replacing some of the panel and trellis on the other side. Both of the projects were done on time with high quality.

After extensive research and multiple interviews and quotes, I selected Mount Olive Landscape and Construction to replace my wood fence with a new composite (Trex) fence. Their price was competitive and their references all checked out. I’m so glad I selected this company. I am extremely pleased with the new fence. My fence installation had multiple challenges including: Part of the fence needed to be installed on an existing concrete retaining wall. Multiple grades were involved, A large cedar tree straddled the fence line. Some parts of the fence were curved at less than 90 degree angles. Multiple fence heights were involved. Norberto’s crew was up to each of these challenges. They know fences! If you’re in the market for a new fence, consider composite (Trex). Composite is more money than wood, but is well worth it in the long run. Then consider Mount Olive Landscape and Construction. I highly recommend Norberto and his crew. I think you’ll be pleased with the results for many (many) years.

Norberto was prompt in responding to a time sensitive situation (irrigation leak) and was clearly intelligent and. knowledgeable about his business. His associate, Troy had no trouble understanding the old valve system and easily replaced valves and solenoids - leak repaired! This company was responsive and easy to work with. And a fund of info re: landscaping needs and irrigation. We will definitely use them again.

Norberto Guevara is the owner of Mount Olive Construction. He is an honest, hard working young man with a crew to match. Everyone pitches in and does their best; no one is looking for a shortcut. The pride they all take in their work is a very nice change! I felt very fortunate to have them do a large landscaping job for me that produced excellent results. I have put off this project due to worry about finding a worthy contractor who was honest and had the expertise to work to my satisfaction. Please look no further than Mount Olive and Norberto when you seek professionalism and a work ethic that is admirable.

The crew complete work in May 2025. Project complete included building a rock wall, repairing the fence and another rock wall, making a small patio with flagstone, building a raised bed, removing several shrubs and transplanting 2 shrubs and a small tree. The crew picked up the flagstone, and rocks and also compost to use in the garden. In addition, several indoor projects were building a mantel, doors for a small closet and cabinet and dry covers in the laundry room. Norbert was great to work with and Ali for his carpentry skill, as well as the crew. The all worked hard, were efficient and very professional.

Mt. Olive was a great choice for our lawn and irrigation project. Norberto and his team were responsive and got the work done on schedule. When there was a hiccup that required changing the approach, Norberto stuck with us and saw the project through with a very reasonable change order.
