Write a ReviewMiera & Son Construction is the best you can find. We had an unused room ( Kind of a storage room) in our daughters' bedroom. Brock and his crew did a wonderful job changing that room into a beautiful bathroom and adding a wardrobe. Looks like it always has been there. He and his crew are courteous, professional, details oriented, and always available to hear your requests and make them happen. Brock will help with great ideas and suggestions. The one and only I would trust to do future work. Thank you we appreciated all the work in a timely matter and highly detailed.
We needed a number of updates on our 1978 house and a covered deck. They did a great job.
This company is absolutely wonderful to work with. They remodeled a whole 3 bedroom house for us. It was done in a very timely manner. Brock the owner listened to all of our needs & came thru beautifully for us. We can't speak highly enough of his company. They also poured new concrete in our driveway & repaired the out side fence & gates! Amazing work done on a timely basis. Thank you Robyn Fleenor
We had a flood in our basement and we hired these guys to replace the flooring and drywall. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The whole basement looks great way better than it did before the flood. We are beyond pleased with the way it came out. Definitely would recommend these guys for any kind of work youâ re looking to get done. If we ever need any more work done we will for sure be using these guys. Thank you so much
Brock and his crew from Miera & Son Construction were an absolute pleasure to work with, Brock works closely with his clients to ensure their vision comes to fruition in a timely fashion and within budget. The attention to detail in all phases of our project was outstanding. Whenever changes needed to occur to the project, as they always do, the process was easy and in no way compromised the project's overall timeline. We have several more major renovation projects in the future and there is no doubt, that we will hire Miera & Son Construction again! You will be thrilled with the final product they produce for you.
Brock and his crew are wonderful to work with. They are friendly, courteous , timely and they explain what they are doing, always verifying that it is what you want. Brock is very familiar with the construction industry and had many good ideas and recommendations. Our first project with them is a remodel of two rooms to make a kind of studio apartment. The cost was fair. It has turned out better than expected. I look forward to working with them again on a room addition!
brock miera was timely, punctual, very fair in cost of the bathtub surround tile and the kitchen backsplash tile, ceramic and porcalin. did all the demo preparatory work in as clean a manner as possible. very happy with all his suggestions and his willingness to listen to what we wanted . made us feel like he was willing to help us get what we wanted at the lowest possible cost to us and not lead us to do more expensive work. would hire him back for anything else we wanted to do with our house.
Brock came to our home to give us a bid for new floors but after a lot of feedback from him, we listened to his advice and went with new baseboards. He was the only contractor to give us honest feedback about what we wanted to do in our home for our particular situation. He did a great job on the baseboards and willing to do whatever we needed. Amazing experience and will definitely be using him again for future projects.
Brock was very inexperienced when we first hired him to do our upstairs remodel, and for this reason, it was a lot cheaper than the other quotes we received. For this project he did a good job but did not do any of the ascetics: did not paint, did not redo the hardwood floors, we used his recommendation on the company for cabinets and countertops, etc. He did a good job: laying the tile for the backsplash and kitchen floor, the drywall looked good (before our painters got in there), hung and framed some closet doors but (we built the closets shown) and installed an electric fireplace. Because it was him doing a lot of the work, and we felt we got a good deal, we decided to have him come back to do our basement 6 months later - it was a complete disaster. One thing Brock does well starts the project, but when it comes to finishing he will drag it out, and ultimately leave it for you to complete. The bar and washer/ dryer he has shown, we had to sand, seam and seal the butcher block, (he also provided us wrong measurements and one side has 4 seams cobbled together) the doors were completely crooked and falling off (I spent a weekend completely re-doing them), we had to install the vinyl flooring ourselves because it was not level, even though it was self-leveling flooring, we had to then do our own trim, completely redo the ductwork for the dryer cause it was an afterthought, repaint the entire basement (1100 sq ft). During the end of his job, we had issues with water coming into the basement and he said it was groundwater. After $3000 for a new sub pump and tearing down the entire wall, we found it was the shark bite he used for the copper to pex piping ( I will say he did come out and reframe that wall for free but lost sq footage due to the sub-pump, and the $3000 on one we did not need). We also had issues with the shower pan not draining. He would not take ownership of this, installed a different drain and left us to pick up the pieces. Now what we have visible water damage in our basement, we completely tore out the shower, to find out the shower pan was leaking the entire time, and the shower was not sealed (something he actually gave us push back on). Throughout the entire basement experience, he subcontracted everything and every sub would say the last did something wrong (never the same people), and we have had to spend over $10k and hours upon hours getting it right, after we paid him tens of thousands in the first place. You pay for what you get, and that is cheap work, no pride and a lot of stress. Get someone who takes pride in their work, and will complete the job.
Brock is the best general contractor I have ever worked with. He completely remodeled our kitchen on budget and we could not be happier.
