Installer was knowledgeable and did a great job installing two solar tubes. However, he could've cleaned up better and follow through to ensure customer satisfaction after making a mistake. Therefore I contacted the owner Tom to resolve the mistake. Tom handled my complaint professionally. I am now 100% satisfied.

We hired Solar Midwest to remove two skylights and install two new ones. One of the old skylights was leaking badly and Solar Midwest was able to finagle their schedule to get us on the schedule quickly. We appreciated their transparent bid process, professionalism and flexibility. I would highly recommend them.

Had a solar tube installed. Did not know how many or what size was needed, and the installer was not very helpful. Settled on the larger size and guessed on the best spot for it. It definitely helps, but think a different diffuser might make it even better. Saved money by mentioning their black Friday sale, even though I had tossed their coupon. The tube really makes a difference on sunny days, and not so much on dreary days. Still torn whether to install a second one or not. I was expecting someone to arrive and tell me exactly what I needed, and that did not happen. The trial and error is still being evaluated as it only solves part of the problem. We do like the area affected by the tube, and it was a good value. It just is not a total solution to the problem. There was no follow up by the company.
