Excellent install with minimal mess & debris. Only negative was applying a bit to much insulation foam on the sealed edge. Needed to come back and trim off the excess. It was a quick response in returning to trim off the excess. If you re considering skylights, I definitely recommend Solatube Midwest.

Solar Midwest did a very fine job installing a solatube solar lighting project. The installer did not have a critical part for the installation but very competently built a replacement part on site. Since the tube was run two stories it would have been nice if the company supplied trim around the second story holes but they usually have the tube run in a chaseway so there is no need for trim. I will need to build the chase myself. Other than these two small issues the job was completed professionally and cleanly. Sales people were easy to work with and the young man installing the tube was excellent.

Solar Midwest was excellent to deal with. We now have 3 solar tubes in our townhouse (laundry, den and master bath). They make a world of difference in the light in the room. Having daylight, even on a cloudy day, truly brightens up the living space. We just love it. Solar Midwest was also a dream to work with. We visited the showroom and could compare the different sizes and filters to pick the one right for our spaces. We scheduled our appointment, they showed up on time, did the install faster than I expected and were VERY neat. I expected to have a lot of insulation and drywall dust, but they left nothing! I would highly recommend Solar Midwest.
