Great job. Timing and quality

My husband and I started to put in a fenced in garbage can patio, and made a mess of it. Andreas quoted me a good price, did the job right, was willing to use materials I already had on hand, did the job within the time frame we discussed, and didn't try to upsell me. I would definitely use them again.

Andreas and his team did a wonderful job installing a brick paver walkway at my house. He quickly responded to my request for a quote, and unlike the other contractors who responded, actually listened as I described what I wanted accomplished and did not try to "upsell" me on things I did not want as he understood my project needs. He came back with an extremely reasonable price quote and quickly executed the work. The walkway looks wonderful, and I will definitely keep Andreas and the Metropolitan Paint and Home Improvement team in mind for my future home improvement needs!

Hired Metropolitan for a porch rail repair, they came out same day I called and provided estimate and followed up with a detailed written estimate including the quality of materials and their contractor license number. Their estimate was competitive with others I received for the job. I hired them because of their customer service. They arrived on time and completed job as promised. When I asked for one small fix it was done immediately. I will definitely be using them for future home repairs at my Alexandria , VA home.

He delivered more than what he promised: The cost to value was the most reasonable to begin with. On top he did a repairs a few boards more than what was originally agreed upon, at no extra charge, because he didn’t want to deliver a suboptimal result. He had attention to details and was honestly providing alternatives, not focusing on selling the most expensive option.

I reached out to 5 different companies to replace a deck support beam to my home. Andreas was the only 1 out of the 5 companies to actually show up at my home to do an estimate and take a look at the deck. The following week his crew came over and replaced it in a matter of hours. I’m very happy with the quick work and turn around on getting the beam replaced. I will definitely hire this company again if I need any other work.

Andreas is the owner and oversaw the project on a daily basis. His work crew was excellent. The cost was competitive. Would use Metropolitan in any future project without hesitation.
