John was very quick to respond to our inquiry. He called ahead of time to let us know when he would be here. Work was completed as agreed and done very efficiently. My pool/spa heater was not working right and I had family coming to visit from Colorado who wanted to enjoy a relaxing dip and soak in the pool and the Arizona sunshine. With time running out to get the heater working and after many failed attempts to fix it myself I went to Home Advisor and saw McCallum's Pool Service was highly rated so I asked for a quote thinking I probably would have to wait some time for anything to be done on the heater, especially since I thought there was a real problem going on with the pool. I got a return call almost immediately and we set an appointment for the following morning. At the appointed time John called and said he was on the way. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the heater and found that there was also poor water flow to and from the main pool pump. He repaired the problem with new parts he carried on his truck and quickly got the very old Teledyne heater working as it should. He also advised me that there was a couple of other small things that probably should be done for the pool pump to work efficiently. The price he quoted me was very reasonable so I asked him to do what needed to be done. My pool, spa and heater are now working better than they have in years, even after being serviced by other companies. I was impressed by John's knowledge of all things related to swimming pools and how quickly he worked. From beginning to end it all happened in less than 24 hours. The total price was below what I expected and the service was superior. My company is relaxing in the Spa at this very moment. McCallum's is my new number one choice for anything swimming pool related.
