Thanks for your review Tricia. It was a pleasure to have completed your painting project for the house interior.
Very good to work with
Thank you.
Great guy. Did what he said, professional quality wall, clean jobsite, kept me updated. Wish all contractors I dealt with were like him.
Thanks Ed. You guys were great to work for.
Mike was very informative and had amazing ideas to make our wall even better than we ever thought possible, he has top notch employees, they went above and beyond his quote , I have and would recommend him to everyone
Thanks Bryan. You and Amy are great to work for.
Easy to work with.
Mike and his crew did a very good job . He talked with me to understand what I was trying to achieve. They hauled the railroad ties and cleaned up. Mike was easy to talk with and listened to what i wanted.
,
Just had them install a short section of block wall, demo and rebuilt a 40 foot section then stucco and paint our entire perimeter wall that is over 300 linear feet. Very happy with the result! Which is what we expected as we had them build, stucco and paint a large block wall for us 8 years ago as well. The work was done as agreed and looks great but it is also very important to me that they clean up so there is left over debris, trash etc when done. Have recommended them to others before and will continue to do so.
Thank you, Steve. It was great to work with good people like you. I enjoyed working on your project and I appreciate you recommending me to your friends. Thank you, thank you.
To start, I am a contractor myself. So I have an idea of how to projects should be handled and how customer should be treated. We chose to use Marvista because of our schedule. After completing the project, we wish would have waited for someone else. For starters, his quote came in higher than any other one we received. But again, he could get to us sooner than the other contractors we spoke with. Once we signed the contract, he requested a 50% deposit. This should have been our first red flag. Typical deposit for any work should only be 10-20% max. After paying this, he said he would be out the following Monday. At about 9am, no one had shown up yet. We then had to call him and were told that he would not be starting until the following day. Yet another red flag. Once he started, he told me that he now had to bill for more money because he did not see that our sidewalk went to the previous fence. So now we area being billed more than the initial price agreed on because he did not do his due diligence and inspect the job properly. Also at this point, he had already tore down our old fence. So now I was stuck with potentially having him walk off with not only our money but not having a fence. So I reluctantly agreed. We also had our second delay in the project at this point. He informed that he had not schedule for any of the excavation at this point and still had to find someone to get out there to do it. So now we have our fence pulled down with nothing but post up. We then have to wait for two days for the excavator to arrive and finish removing the post and dig the trench for the new footing. In the mean time, once the old fence was taken down, he then placed all the trash in our neighbors front yard with a free sign. Which was issue because we had paid extra for him removing the old fence and disposing of it. This sat there for 3 days until we got into an argument about not only the trash but another attempt at getting more money out of us. This time, it was over the fence post being cemented in and a few of them being metal post instead of wood. Again not doing his due diligence in inspecting the job properly. This time though I did not agree to it as I was already feed up at this point. After this, his crew finally shows up the following day and gets the fence put in. Not the best block work I have seen, but not the worst. OK at best. After his crew leaves though, they leave there tools spread out on the side of our house, food and drink cups, all of the dirt from digging just left where ever it fell, pallets across my drive way and neighbors house and left over materials. He said we would be back the following day to clean up. Three days later, he shows up to move the pallets out of the driveway. Two days later someone finally comes to pick up the pallets and left over material. Then we have to wait another day for everything else. His excuse, ITS HOT. All I can think is welcome to the desert. Needless to say, I am not happy with this company at all. Save yourself money and frustration and just go with someone else.
Good quality work, on time and as agreed.
