David Burch and his crew remodeled our den with live edge shelves and built in cabinets. The level of professionalism from all of the tradesmen was top notch. I love our den. Working with mcgee construction was so easy and pleasant. David would respond in a timely manner and explained everything in depth. It has been a pleasure dealing with Larry McGee and his crew. They were 100 percent professional and HONEST throughout the entire project. I always plan for changes throughout a construction project (experience - never know what will be found during the year down phase). Larry was 100 percent truthful on what was found and prevented the best possible way to solve. Additional charges for change contract was very reasonable. Larry and his crew communicated throughout the entire project so that I always knew what was happening and when. I HIGHLY recommend Larry McGee Construction !!!

After working out of state for 3 years I was planning to move back to my house in Huntington Beach in November 2021. I wanted to remodel my kitchen and update the interior of the house before moving in, so I researched general contractors in the Southern California area. I found this to be generally difficult, as the region is full of many â professionalsâ with questionable qualifications. After getting bids from 6 other contractors, I hired Larry McGee and McGee Construction in September 2021. I found him to be straightforward and honest in his bid. My timeframe to complete the work was very short, but Larry was eager to take on the challenge and got to work right away, despite his companyâ s heavy work-load and the supply challenges posed by the COVID pandemic. Larry was extremely professional and willing to thoroughly answer any questions that came up throughout the process of my remodel. He has extensive knowledge of existing building codes and works with excellent subcontractors to ensure work is completed to the highest standard. Larry consistently verified the quality of work at every step in the process and was very communicative, which was invaluable for me since I was still living on the east coast at the time. Furthermore, on several occasions he offered me his professional opinion which led me to make some changes I had not considered. In the end, we completed a total kitchen remodel, with new paint throughout the house, new interior doors and trim, and a new exterior French door to our backyard. The majority of his work was complete by the time I moved in, with a few remaining items on backorder due to ongoing supply chain issues. Nonetheless, Larry was aggressive in getting these remaining items addressed as quickly as possible to limit the disruption to my family. I would not hesitate to recommend McGee Construction to anyone looking for a professional, ethical company to complete their home improvement project.

Larry and his crew did a complete remodel on my husband’s deceased parents home and the results were amazing! Larry was very responsive to our needs and any issues or unexpected surprises that came up, which did, were quickly resolved. Larry was very professional and made the process of difficult choices easy. It did take longer than we expected due to COVID, but the finished product was beyond our expectations. When listed and during open house, we received numerous compliments on the completed work and even gave referrals to a few interested parties. I would definitely recommend Larry for any remodel project needed.

I did a multi room remodel that included a complete kitchen and master bathroom model. It was a pleasure working with Larry and his team. His quote was itemized and he was willing to work with me to meet me needs. All his sub contractors were professional and polite. The communication was very clear. I was always aware of what was going on. It was easy to work with Larry. If I had a concern or question, I always got an answer and the team wanted to make sure I was happy with the work completed.

We used McGee Construction to handle repairs after a major water leak and resulting damage. Every single room and surface of the house was impacted, as was electrical and plumbing. This job lasted almost a year due to a very uncooperative insurance adjuster. Larry McGee was patient, offered us many different choices to stay within our budget, and did a great job of staying in touch with us as the project went along. We are especially grateful for the unfailing kindness and respect he showed towards my elderly father who has great difficulty with communications. The work performed was high quality and we were very happy with the results. We would absolutely use McGee Construction again, probably without getting other bids since Larry was so good to work with and earned our trust.

We had a massive project, practically rebuilding our house and updating it to the modern style. Larry and his crew were very professional and did a great job. McGee Construction did a great job all around in building our 1200 sq. ft. house from the ground up.
