Reviews
Write a ReviewI had them put a new roof on. They were extremely professional. I highly recommend them
They repaired the garage roof along with the facia, soffit along with replacing the plywood as needed
Brian was very professional and on time through every step of the project. He was on site with his crew and they worked very professionally. The roof is beautiful! Clean up was impeccable. Would highly recommend.
I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with LevelUp Roofing. The company initially quoted me $11,000 to replace my roof with shingles. The agreement included a rate of $119 per board if replacements were needed, with the first three boards free. However, after removing my old roof, they showed me photos and claimed that the entire roof?about 70 boards for an 1,800 sq. ft. home?needed replacement. This issue was never mentioned during the inspection. I believe they were aware of the roof?s condition beforehand but failed to disclose it until after the roof was opened. At that point, I was told the work couldn?t be stopped, leaving me with no real choice but to proceed. In the end, I was forced to pay around $18,000, which included an unexpected $7,000 extra for additional boards. I felt pressured, misled, and taken advantage of throughout this process. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company, as my experience was far from transparent
Hi Rubina, we?re sorry to hear that you felt disappointed with your experience. We always strive to be transparent with every customer throughout the roofing process. As stated in the signed agreement, any damaged plywood discovered after removing the old roof would require replacement at the agreed-upon per-board rate, with the first boards included at no cost. Unfortunately, hidden wood damage cannot always be fully identified during the initial inspection because it is located beneath the existing shingles and underlayment. Once the roof was opened, extensive deterioration was found, and for safety and code compliance, those damaged boards needed to be replaced before installing the new roofing system. We also worked with you on pricing and provided discounts on both the roofing project and the plywood replacement to help reduce the additional cost as much as possible. We understand unexpected expenses can be frustrating, but our priority is always to complete the work properly, safely, and without cutting corners. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best moving forward.
All work was completed and problem is gone now
Installed new siding on front of house using Hardie board material. Project came out great! Super well done, Brians team came ripped old siding day 1 and day 2-5 installed new siding, cleaned all garbage and old siding.
We were very pleased with the work done by Brian and his crew.
They were very responsive and able to fix the roof before the rain came. Even more importantly, there were no leaks.
Brian Nela [Alsideconstruction] 10/29/2022 2:42:00 PM Brian Nela and a family member as an assistant arrived a little late due to auto and ferry traffic. No big deal. [Normal for the east end of long island.] THE Work ethic was outstanding: (a) explained all work, (b) answered questions, (c) made sure I knew what was going to be done: including the materials to be used and the quality of the materials to be used. In addition, The work was not JUST a repair, it was the installation of a new flat roof over a two-car garage, which necessitated (1) removing the decking, and placing it on the patio (neatly!); (2) removing the stringers, cleaning all debris that lay beneath the decking, including rotted stringers, with nailing to be removed, and biological debris from leaves, tree seeds, etc, (3) power washing the top of the base roofing that will remain, epoxying all rows of nail holes on the 20x17 roof, laying a base epoxy coat prior to installing the new roofing fabric. In addition, Brian cleaned the chimney from my wood-burning stove, surveyed the roof and the flashing around two chimneys, and found the flashings in need of replacement, those flashing were also repaired. Finally, one section of siding on the second story was replaced with a matching sheet of asphalt shingle. For the future: a new roof for the house is under consideration. ***** Brian Nela [Alsideconstruction] is highly recommended.
Very Professional. On time- which is rare these days. He did great great work! Would highly recommend!
