Write a ReviewWe needed to repair a part of our wood floor where we removed a half wall and have the rest of the floor refinished. Though the floors had not been originally laid evenly where the half wall was, Chuck laced in the threshold so it looked perfect afterward. The rest of the team did a great job refinishing the floors. Would highly recommend Lee's Floor Service. Could not be happier with how the floors turned out. Sam and Dawn are a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions.
After the new dishwasher was installed, there was a gap between it's kick plate and the new flooring. Lee's workman came out and filled that flooring gap nicely.
Amazing! Customer service was the best I ve ever experienced. Calls are returned timely, all questions are answered timely. 100% great experience. I HIGHLY recommend this company!
Professional work delivered
They were not on time a couple of times, but made up for it.
I got three quotes for my hardwood install and refinish project. Two were about the same and Lee's Flooring was about 50% higher. They were so nice and had such great reviews I convinced myself to pay a lot more money in hopes of getting a lot in return. That was a mistake. Tldr; I had a very frustrating experience. Timing: I was told 6-7 days (like the other bids), certainly less than two weeks, to get my 1700 sqft project done. I requested to schedule it during a 5 day trip I was already taking. They told me to have my furniture out of the house. EIGHTEEN days later I was allowed to bring my furniture back in the house. And 45 days after starting they were completely finished. Almost none of the project was done while I was out of town. The didn't came or left early most of the days. This was extremely upsetting because then I had to live in the chaos for weeks. Communication: For days at a time I couldnt reach the office because the phone wasn;t answered and the voicemail was full. I finally resorted to texting and that worked better. I never knew what was happening or when to expect people. The crew changed so many times I never knew who was coming or when. The worst part was never being told when I would be able to come home. When I communicated my confusion and frustration I was FUSSED at by one of the workers for not asking the men using loud tools before I ran out of the house with my scared toddler. Once, after a long day of keeping my little kids away from their home, I came home to be told "you can't be in here". After pushing back and saying I had to feed my kids and get them to bed for the night, all of the men standing around outside my house stared at me like I was crazy. I have little kids... Why would anyone think it was okay to disallow me from my house past 7pm? It wasn't usually that bad, but when I was allowed to be home, I always felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. It would be okay for the crews to work late but finish in less days. Or for the crews to be flexible and take a long time. They were neither. All of this would have been disastrous anyway, but I am a stay at home mom of two little kids who are scared of the loud noises and need 1-2 naps every day. They missed countless naps because of the delays and thus we had hard days with crying. We had no home or kitchen for weeks. I was met with excuse after excuse. End product: I like the color and they were responsive in fixing most things that weren;t quite right. The crew lead pushed back a lot about the stain I found on most of my baseboards. He insisted they werent his fault although it wasnt there before and I had no other work done. So I recommend you plan to repaint your baseboards. My biggest concern is the boards are separating in many places and have long visible cracks between boards in a couple dozen places now. Im told its a winter problem because of the dry and it will resolve itself when the weather changes. We'll see. Conclusion: This was a big splurge, especially since I paid so much more for this company. It was a big mistake. Maybe if you are at work all the time or don't live in the house this company would be a good fit.
The work is amazing, the people are amazing. I had no idea my floors could look so good!
