Response from Company:
So we get 0.5-star rating with not even a comment on what for? Sounds like a hack to me. I wish these kind of reviews could be removed.

Benjamin was great to work with, all I had to do is text him or call and he was there. He did everything I had to get done. His workers Daniel and Jennifer are true professionals. They did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to everyone, they do a great job. Sure glad I found them. Will use them again.

The work did they did was sub par, I hired them to remove some tile and install luxury vinyl plank throughout the living room. Within 2-3 months after they installed my vinyl planks some of the edges started to raise and not be flush with the rest of the floor. So I messaged, called and left a voicemail for Benjamin since he said all his work is backed by a 1 year workmanship warranty. I still have yet to get a response from them after a week of calling and messaging them. So this is the reason for this rating and review it will be changed if I get a response and they come out to fix what is wrong because it is outrageous for the vinyl planks to already not be flat and flush within 2-3 months of install. Also nothing crazy was done to this floor I just recently moved in and had the a/c at 74°F all day and night with the windows closed and no water or liquid has touched the flooring. So I'm disappointed that this company doesn't actually back their warranty as they say they do.
Response from Company:
Edges rising after a few months of installation isn't due to install. Secondly it's a material issue and we didn't provide the materials.

Southern Flooring did a wonderful job with a tile replacement job at the entrance and back porch area. I would certainly use them again for other flooring projects. Diane

Disappointing. Benjamin told me they could do the plumbing and tile work for a new shower. It was apparent the "plumber" could not do the job as he was not a plumber, but a handyman who works for Benjamin. Benjamin argued that they had done it right so the problem of getting no water out of the hot handle to the tub must have been in my brand new house (??) I had them stop and hired a real plumber and it took him 40 minutes to do the hookup. After that, I saw Benjamin's brother and cousin only who worked hard and were very pleasant. However, they ran out of tile for the curb on the shower and substituted wood. One other area, the top of the wall was sloppily patched with wood as well. When I requested they come back and repair these items, Benjamin said he could see my concerns from the pictures but would charge me $300 to come back to fix what they did. (?) My mistake was paying them before I was satisfied with the job.
Response from Company:
I'm going to weigh in on this one. Yes I did say we could disconnect and reconnect plumbing, never said we were plumbers. We disconnected and reconnected everything the same and everything worked but the hot water going to "bath tub" that we never touched. Plumber said he could tell it was nothing we did and probably was "clogged" from lack of use and only blew out the line "again that we never touched" I was then billed by customer for plumbing we had nothing to with. When I asked for a draw at end of week because unforeseen issues with new shower drain held us up extra days "customer agreed to issues and change order for work" but after I paid for all materials and labor for work she said she wasn't paying me anything till job was finished. The trim we did wasn't in our contract or ever charged for so after being charged for plumbing we had nothing to do with and spoke to treated like "les than because we are a small construction labor company" I did give customer a price to correct the small trim issues that she shared with me and would've covered the work my guys did for free and some of the plumbing I was unjustly charged for. P.S. the plumber didn't even have tools of his own and had barrow ours so a $245 charge for 20 minutes of work didn't sit well with me. Wish we could 100% satisfied every body " and we strive to do so" but there will always be that one?

They did a great job for us and fit us in to their busy schedule - even though it was a relatively small job.
