Reviews
Write a ReviewJim did an excellent job replacing our deck boards and railings. Also he redesigned our shaky deck steps which is now very sturdy and fabulous. The material he used is of good quality. He is very down to earth with excellent customer skills. He was always available to answer any questions we had and also gave his expert input in making our project a success. He completed our project within a week including rebuilding the steps. Thanks again Jim for a job well done!
Jim was awesome from start to finish, he gave us great feed back to help us design the deck to meet all of our needs. We are having him come back and redo our older deck as well. His quality of work is exceptional. I was so amazed to see the small detail of rounding the edges on the deck boards, it makes a big difference to us. We will be keeping him in mind for any future projects!
Jim came out the same day I called to give an estimate on installing a handrail for a set of steep curving concrete steps (7) located in the front yard. He completed the project the next day. Jim was easy to work with and conscientious, with an eye for detail. Although a smaller project, he took the time to explain different options and went over cost saving methods. I decided on wood posts, balusters, and a graspable wood handrail to match the front porch and Jim immediately got to work on the project. I am very pleased with the results and would definitely hire again.
(This review is not about a wood fence install but I couldn't find a better description in the menu of HomeAdvisor's project selections). The actual project was to install an outside handrail to an existing set of steep, curving concrete steps leading to the front yard. I happened to catch Jim between his other scheduled projects and he came to look at my project the same day I called him. After a discussion on what building materials would be most effective, Jim allowed me to buy the materials with him so that I could take advantage of my military discount. Jim then installed the pressure treated wood posts and balusters to the steps to match the existing front entry porch then attached a rounded handrail to the inside of the balusters for users to grasp. To finish it off, he installed solar post caps on top of the posts, again to match the existing caps. (We will paint to match the existing porch after the wood seasons). The job was completed the day after I called him for a very reasonable price. Jim is easy to work with and concerned with doing a good job, no matter how small the project. I am very pleased with his professionalism, integrity, honesty, and quality of work. I would hire him again.

Jim and Klearly Superior Home services knocked down a structural wall and replaced with structural beam and all of the finishing required. The project was on budget, great quality, and completed within a reasonable timeframe. Jim was a pleasure to have in the house... all of his crew are men of integrity. I felt comfortable giving a key to the crew so they could work while I was away at work. I was impressed with his craftsmanship and ecstatic of the overall results. Highly recommended for you home project.
Greg and Heather, Thanks for the opportunity to complete this project in your home . Really glad you are happy with the results. Also thanks for the patience that is required when having to sacrifice your living space temporarily. Sincerely, Jim F.
This was a small deck on the front of my house along with partial replacement of the door frame and installation of a storm door. The quality of the job was flawless to my eye, timely and it looks great.
On time, good job,
It was not a deck it was a private dock. Generally a difficult project and Fowler construction to charge and did a good job in a timely manner.
