Write a ReviewKush Drafting Services did an excellent job, they were more than happy to make changes that I needed. Friendly, professional, and timely. I highly recommend them!
Hamid and Kim did excellent work with great communication. They completed our drafting project quickly, on time and accomodated our request for 2 minor updates to the blueprints. Would highly recommend.
Kush Drafting helped me with my remodeling plan and a new design for my ADU. They were fast and easy to work with. They helped me throughout the process with my questions. I recommend them!
Deeply Regret Hiring Kush Drafting (Hamid) This was by far the worst professional experience I?ve ever had. Hamid completely misled me about where to build on my property, insisting on a slab-on-grade design at the bottom of my hill. When the soil report came back, it clearly showed that slab-on-grade wasn?t even feasible. My civil engineer ? and several other architects and engineers I consulted ? all said the same thing: the spot he chose was one of the worst possible locations for a house. Instead of taking responsibility, Hamid became argumentative, delayed my project for months, and refused to cooperate. In the end, he only offered a partial refund and forced me to sign a release of liability form to get it. I found his conduct to be extremely unprofessional, unethical, and manipulative. I strongly recommend avoiding Kush Drafting. This experience cost me time, money, and peace of mind.
Hello, You are confusing us with the Grading engineer and Soils engineer. As explained to you from start, it is the responsibility of your Grading engineer with your approval to locate the house on your sloped lot. You understood and even confirmed it in your email to your Grading engineer. See your email below: Apr 23 Hi ?.., I wanted to clarify that the final decision on the location of the home on the parcel will be made by me, as the property owner. I?ve noticed that previous messages in this thread have been directed toward my draftsmen, but they?ve already communicated that this is a decision I will be making personally. Please ?.. Best regards, How could I be argumentative and delayed your project while you were praising our work and thanking us in almost every email. See your emails below: Apr 25 Hi Kim, Thank you for all of your hard work and for sending over the updated plans! ??.. The service was worth every penny!! Very professional and excellent work.
Very personable and took great care of me and my needs
They were what I needed
Working with Kush was such a pleasure. They were efficient, professional, flexible and willing to comply with both my changes/suggestions and the City of San Diego Development Services Department continual changes in staff and regulations. I am looking forward to hiring KUSH for our 2 other projects. Thank you kindly. It was a pleasure doing business with you all.
The supposed owner of KUSH (Hamid) drafting asked for 40% down before doing anything. Then when he realized the job might be harder than he had thought, he backed out, blamed me and kept all of my 40% down leaving me nothing useful to help with my project; but I am out $1440. Thanks, Hamid... lol
Hi Mike, Lets tell the whole story. I never realized your job was harder and I did not back out because we could not do it. It was you did not agree with basic principal of engineering. You wanted to add 3rd floor on your existing 2nd floor without modifying your walls below. For the initial payment we created all of your existing plans, demolition plan, new floor plan, new roof plan and exterior elevations including your changes. When we were ready to do engineering, you said, you do not want to modify or touch your walls below and foundation because you cannot afford it. I explained many times that by adding a 3rd floor we must upgrade the walls below not just vertical load but also seismic load. And you kept refusing to do anything because your stucco is too expensive and you could not afford touching it. I even mentioned to you, no engineer can help you with this. Then you said, you will sue city of San Diego and sue Building department for why they did not tell you this. At the end we both agreed to stop the project. I provided all the files we created for you in PDF & CAD format. Legally, I did not have to pay you anything, but without you asking me, I offered a refund by calculating our times and refunded the remaining balance. I cut you a check for $220. You started emailing me that you wanted more. Finally, I offered you additional $200 out of my pocket just to close the drama. Then you showed satisfaction and happiness by emails (see below). Hey Hamid, I thought your offer of an extra $200 over the $220 I sent back was very big of you,not all I wanted but it was the thoughtful gesture to ease any bad feelings and let us both get back to more important things that I did like. I agreed and thought you had too... And your final email: Hey Hamid, Got your check;thanks for helping put a final end to this so we can get on with more pleasant things. Thanks Mike
