I hired them for my dining room, office, and staircase wall. Geo, Joses son, along with a helper, came to my home and started painting. It was the week of Thanksgiving and I had to run out before family arrived. My husband and I left and I told them I would return in a few hours. I had sold a boat and the buyer had given me $18,000 cash and $54,000 in a wire transfer on Nov 2. I have the papers to prove this transaction. And that I did have the cash! With election and etc I postponed depositing into an account, etc. I honestly had forgotten about the money being at home with the painters. I have two big dogs and leave them in my home when I leave etc... so, I put the money in a purse. The original envelope the buyer had given me. I had put the dogs outside so the painters could paint that day. I had gone into the envelope the day prior to going shopping. When I went to put some of the money back in the purse the purse was there with the envelope torn all apart and there was only a $20.00 bill left. The money was gone at the time there was $15,000.00 cash in the purse! The only people in the home besides myself and my husband were the painters, nobody else had been in the home. We called Geo, and ask him to come to meet us as he had confessed that he left his workers in our home alone while he went to get paint. He agreed but after speaking to his father he refused to come and his father got on the phone with my husband and accused us of wanting to claim insurance fraud! Here is what has happened since: His father accused us of insurance fraud claiming that we were lying. Geo refused to meet us. They have ignored all my request for the name of their worker to file a police report. It is one thing that I have been violated and it is another that they treat us as criminals. I have never sued or filed an insurance claim with anyone. This is not just a $100.00 we are talking about. This has mentally messed with me along with making me have little faith in mankind. I would highly recommend you not use this company they are not professional at all and are covering something up by not meeting or hiding over names!
