Kasmier Painting

David and his assistants painted our two story Victorian in Buffalo last year. The job was done quickly, but very efficiently in a short period of time. They were very professional and careful and the house looks beautiful. We have received many compliments. I am late on this review, but wanted to make sure I wrote it. I would not and have not hesitated recommending them to friends.

David did an excellent job from start to finish. They did both interior and exterior painting. Requested he come back to fix a minor problem, he was here in a flash and took care of it. Would highly recommend.

I hired Dave to help out with our kitchen walls while we are remodeling. He and his team did a great job with hanging drywall and making the walls ready to paint. Dave also repaired the ceiling and blended in his work so well you can't tell where the repair is. Dave was easy to call/text or email, he setup appointment times to which he and his team showed up for-on time. Dave listened to what it was I was looking for and offered his advice, which was much appreciated. Even came back to go over a few spots on the wall to make sure I was completely happy. I would hire Dave again.

I hired Dave to paint the exterior of my home, a large three story home in North Buffalo. I was very happy with his work throughout the process. He was easy to communicate with: scheduled a time to come to the house to give his quote quickly, gave us an estimated date for starting work that was on target with the actual start date, and gave me his email and cell number to reach him. He gave a detailed quote that explained exactly what he would be doing, was clear about what was not included, and stuck with the quote even though the job took a day or two longer than expected. He worked with the paint we chose, and took care of purchasing it for us. Most importantly, the quality of his and his crew's work was exceptional. They repaired tiles that needed repairing, and spent a lot of time carefully prepping the house prior to painting. The crew was very respectful of our garden and property while here. Our house now looks brand new, and our neighbors are all complimenting us. I would definitely recommend Kazmier Painting!

I'd been looking to get plaster repaired in several different rooms in my home for months. Contractors would either not show up for the bid, or would provide bids that were crazy expensive, or not be able to start for 3 to 4 months. Then I found David at Kasmier. He was available to give a bid in a couple days, showed up on time, explained the options and price differentials and drew up a detailed bid that he sent me in a couple days. The bid was very reasonable for the work and he promised to be done in a week. He was available to start in a few weeks rather than a few months. So I hired him. He and his crew were all extremely nice, courteous and hardworking. They did their best to limit the mess (although with plasterwork you have to expect some dust). Since they were in several rooms in the house they coordinated with us which rooms they would work on during which days to limit our inconvenience. They made a very intrusive work environment as easy to deal with as possible. The quality of the work they did was excellent. There were several times when David alerted me to the fact that something or other was not as expected (as happens in construction projects in old homes). We discussed the options, he gave his recommendations and we always came to a reasonable plan to overcome the issues. There were also some additional things I asked them to do during the course of the project - again change orders are a common issue during construction projects. David was very accommodating and the additional costs he charged were very reasonable. In the end they stayed one additional day on a week-long project but the issues and change orders account for that slight delay. I would also rather the job be done correctly rather than fast. And they did a beautiful job. It is difficult to get plaster in an old house to look perfect, but they did. The painting they did was also beautifully done. Having been a painter in college I have very high standards and they exceeded them, which is hard to do. I would definitely recommend Kasmier Painting for either plaster or painting work. It is hard to find really good construction contractors and when I do I always want them to do well. David and his crew certainly fall into this category.
