I hired Fernando and his crew after interviewing about 7 different contractors. Fernando stands out as a great communicator. He was happy to discuss every detail before during and after the work. I was also impressed with his commitment to quality. He really cares about doing an honest job so that he can rest knowing everything he touched is better after his crew left than when it started. I'll definitely be hiring him again for future projects!

Fast and excellent work

I cannot imagine working with a nicer person. Fernando was good about getting back to me - I was not in a rush, so a few days delay was not an issue, and if you have a contractor who gets back to you within a day, you must live in a utopia! He is friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonable! I almost hesitate to review him too highly or he may not be available for my next project! ;) He was done faster than he had promised, and made sure he did the best possible job he could, which was A-1!! I am recommending him to anyone else i know (first, our neighbors) who need something he does! And he is someone i would love to just hang out with... He does for his clients what he would like done at his own house, or for his friends. Cannot rate him highly enough! I'm not sure what planet Roland ( one star reviewer) is from, but he must not be a nice person.

LIES AND PROPAGANDA - FERNANDO (OWNER OF JM BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION) IS NOT A GOOD COMMUNICATOR After two meetings, multiple phone calls, emails and messages, one week before the job started, Fernando reached out to me to tell me that he had underestimated the job by $2,000 and needed more money. Fernando's customer service and follow-through were poor. I reached out for an estimate to install new stairs leading to my basement. I met with Fernando twice and spent over five hours discussing my project with him. However, Fernando took weeks to provide the estimate he promised. Then he went missing in action, not responding to my phone calls, emails and messages. Unfortunately, I can't speak to Fernando's work quality because I did not hire JM Brothers Construction for our project. I'm sure Fernando does excellent work, but the brutal pain to get the job estimated and committed was more frustrating than I care to manage. In closing, working with Fernando was a very unpleasant experience. In general, he was very unprofessional delivering estimates, and I wouldn't refer him to anyone or work with him again. BTW many trustworthy concrete contractors in Seattle have integrity and follow-through. Not Fernando.

Fernando was great to work with. He and his crew replace and reconfigure our steps and sidewalk to our front door poured in 1947. I had many questions and they were all answered completely. We got an estimate for a new retaining wall and talked about another project for the back yard in the future. We have already recommended him to Two other friends and would not use anyone else.

The crew was very professional and polite. They did an exceptional job on our new concrete driveway and paver sidewalk. I highly recommend JM Brothers. Fernando was one of the easiest contractors I have ever worked with. When I asked questions he would explain them thoroughly. I will hire JM Brothers again the next time I need concrete work done.

Fernando and his crew rebuild our retaining wall, poured a beautiful concrete patio, and added some landscaping up lights. They are very easy to work with, extremely professional, and they do excellent work. Highly recommend JM to anyone who needs concrete work done!
