Jonathan did a beautiful job in upholstering 2 of our patio bench cushions. The color of the fabric was vibrant and the cushion was perfectly fitted. We were very happy with the results and also how quickly he got it done.

I met with Jonathan earlier this year as we needed furniture reupholstered due to the fire in the Palisades. His professionalism was very impressive. Everything they reupholstered came okback in fabulous condition. We would certainly use him again.

I had a table that was the kitchen table my children grew up around. When I moved recently, I no longer had space for it indoors but I have a lovely covered patio and thought it might work for outdoor dining if I could get it refinished with a more protective finish. It was also showing its age after 20+ years of daily use. Jonathan just returned it yesterday and I am so impressed! The table looks brand new and ready for a whole new life outdoors! It took a little more work and time to restore than either Jonathan or I expected but he stuck to his original estimate, which I appreciate. My kids are so happy I don’t have to get rid of “their” table—lots of memories around that table. And now I’m looking forward to many more years of al fresco dining and all the new memories we’ll be making.

Oh my..,,,Mr. Kim and his team out did themselves. This sideboard had never been refinished till now. He made it look like it did when it was brand new. Also, he did it in a timely manner and was incredibly nice and professional. I would recommend Johnathan Kim’s Design to everyone 👍5 stars all around 😊

I have an antique table that needed refinishing. There were chips in the top surface veneer panels that needed to be replaced and refinished/stained to match the border of the table. Because it is sentimental I felt it needed a professional. I received quotes from several professionals that were referred from Angi. But when I spoke with them and sent pictures, they were so outrageously priced, it almost seemed like the quotes were deliberately high to discourage any further inquiry. By contrast, when I spoke with Jonathan, he commented “they don’t make furniture like this anymore.” I felt he would take great care of my table tip, and he did! It’s absolutely beautiful. If I ever need a professional to refinish any of my furniture, I will definitely reach out to Jonathan.

Jonathan Kim did a great job refinishing cabinet doors to our bookcase and the top of a drop leaf table. He also reupholstered our patio furniture upholstery. Everything looks great! Jonathan is easy to work with, professional, and delivers the product as promised. We highly recommend him.

I have a beautiful bedroom set from Williams Sonoma Home that had taken a beating from several moves. Jonathan Kim worked magic on these pieces at a very fair price. They actually look better than when they were new. Highly recommend!
