I had the pleasure of working with Jose and his team on a retaining wall project in my yard, which involved constructing a 6-foot high, 60-foot-long wall. Jose's outstanding communication skills and commitment to quality were evident throughout the project. He not only kept me well-informed about the progress but also handled interactions with the City Inspector and Engineer, making the process hassle-free for me. What truly impressed me was the craftsmanship displayed by Jose and his team. The retaining wall they built was not only sturdy but also aesthetically pleasing. I love my patio! Mr. Escalera has wonderful customer service, helpful ideas, and excellent value. He communicated every day of the work (we were away for some of the time) and came in on time and within budget. More than that, the finished product is gorgeous (thanks to Jose himself suggesting the tile and design) and a most attractive addition to our outdoor space. SO so pleased! I highly recommend this company.

After a long search, we hired J Escalera Landscaping to replace a 50+ old failing retaining wall and crumbling/rotting walkway behind our home. I canâ t say enough good things about Jose and his crews. The work they did was exceptional and absolutely transformed our property. After hearing so many horror stories about disappearing contractors and extreme delays, I was grateful to have an almost opposite experience. Jose was responsive to email and phone communication, super helpful when it came time to pick materials, and his crews were punctual, hard working, and respectful of my property. Would highly recommend this company for both masonry and landscaping services.

Was supposed to do bi-weekly mowing after clean up. Spring Clean up was good But they came back before 2 weeks to do a mowing. They said they would contact me before coming no call no text. The grass had not even started to grow yet. No advanced warning. I had it in writing that it was to be Bi-weekly and start when I gave go-ahead. I felt ignored and complete lack of communication after the spring cleanup. They basically took the money and ran in my book.

Jose and his crew did a beautiful job installing retaining wall. Consummate professional, clear communicator. Left the job site clean and tidy. I will hire again.

I had a fire pit built by J. Escalera Landscaping. I'm very happy with it. They did a phenomenal job constructing it to last for a century or more I'm sure of that. A few details were somewhat different from what was originally discussed but they did a couple of major improvements during construction that I was really pleased to have with my fire pit after completion. They started exactly as planned and finished in a timely manner. I would hire them again.

Jose and his Crew did about a 3 week job for me putting in two rock walls , Belgian block apron , stairs and a walkway, the work was top notch. The walls came out better then i could have imagined. They gave great design advice as well and made sure i was informed and comfortable as the job progressed. Highly Recommend Them for all your landscaping needs. Will use them in the future ERIC

Jose and his crew did a great job removing brick and laying Unilock on my patio. He was very responsive by phone. He was helpful in discussing options.
