Company was hired to build a tiled hearth for a wood burning stove. Failed to follow building codes and manufacturer recommendations. They have no to little tile experience and concealed structural defects with their work. They forgot to include plywood over the framework and under the cement board, they failed to also properly level the floor, failed to stagger joints, failed to back butter the stone and large format tiles, failed to properly trowel thinset resulting in voids under the tile and the tiles not being properly bonded to cement board. Grout was discolored and was cracking within a day of installation and a large crack runs down the middle of the hearth. There are numerous tiles with lippage, plus the hearth is filled with mold.

The project turned out perfect! We had a bedroom/bathroom suite finished in our basement. John was hired to put in the shower pan, and shower walls, toilet, vanity, and drywalled the walls and ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom, He also installed the flooring in the bathroom and bedroom, finished shelving in the closets, finished off all the trim, and installed a vent and light fixtures in the bathroom and bedroom. He was very detailed when texturizing the walls in the bedroom and bathroom. He made sure it matched the texture on the main floor of our house. He also installed our bathroom barn door. We will be hiring him again when we finish the rest of our basement.

John is very thorough and detail-oriented when working. He replaced our bedroom, closet, and bathroom flooring. The bedroom/closet was carpeted and the bathroom was linoleum. He did a great job with the transitions needed. The flooring looks amazing!

He does absolutely wonderful work and is very meticulous!! I highly recommend him!!
