Icon Decking

If I could give Icon Decking 6 stars I would. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. Todd was fantastic to work with every step of the way and was completely transparent about cost and timelines. He is a good communicator and always kept us informed if anything changed regarding work times and material availability. If you want honesty, value, and quality, hire Icon Decking!

We had a deck renewal done in March of 2021. Todd was very knowledgeable, never pushy, and communication with us was excellent! The work was done in the given time frame by efficient crew. We are very happy with the result.

Todd was excellent. He provided suggestions on design and materials that we hadn't considers and that worked out extremely well. He and his crew were very pleasant and efficient on all ends, from tear down of our old deck to removal of all waste materials to construction. Todd was properly communicative and kept us informed throughout the project. The total cost was very reasonable and we are extremely pleased with the quality of the construction and the look of our new deck.

Our experience with Todd and his team was unequivocally positive. From the very first contact to final sign off Todd communicated the status of the project and set our expectations. He patiently explained the pros and cons of a wood deck and a composite deck, and then guided us to a decision that met our most important needs, and our budget. Todd started the project when he said he would, and there were no surprises during the entire project (well, I guess Todd didn't foresee that a global pandemic would pause the project; but I don't hold that against him :-)). The construction quality of the deck, and the final outcome both exceeded our expectations. This was the best contractor experience I can recall having. I wholeheartedly recommend Todd and Icon without reservation.

Just quality people who live up to their word. I would give them a 10 if the rate went as high. Todd is just a quality person who is kind and professional. Great working with him ...a true craftsman. I just wish my wife was still alive to enjoy our deck.

Todd did an amazing job! We loved the ideas he gave us and we could not be happier with the deck he built. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.

Todd did a good job. Good quality and honest. The only hiccup is he bid the job not knowing the material he bid is not available. I waited for several weeks and there was no material and no ETA when it will arrive. We were stuck in the middle of the job and we were way past the completion date deadline. Todd said nobody in town has it. I got tire of waiting and I started calling around myself to find someone in town who had the material. Dunn Lumbar had it. It ended up costing me more money to get the job done. I felt like Todd should of participated some in the additional cost for the material. Lesson learned...Make sure you confirm availability on material and put completion date in writing. Also, I would confirm with contractor that if for some reason their warehouse doesn't have material and they need to purchase elsewhere they will pay the difference in cost.

We hired Todd to replace our aging wooden deck. He was a pleasure to work with. He was clear in his proposal and estimates and came up with some great ideas to not just replace what was there, but improve it. He got weathered out one day by heavy rain, but the next day he and his co-worker worked straight through without a lunch break to get back on schedule.
