strongly recommend never using Home Genius Exteriors (HGE) for any home project. What was promised as a simple 1?2 day roof replacement turned into a 7-day ordeal filled with delays, poor communication, and lack of accountability. There was little to no communication from the project manager or crew. Some days no one showed up; other days, work progress was minimal. The condition they left our property in was unacceptable?nails scattered throughout the yard, debris and cigarette butts left behind, creating a serious safety hazard for my family and pets. One of us even stepped on a nail. Despite repeated attempts to get answers, follow-up has been lacking. We were told management would contact us, but weeks later, nothing. The compensation offered was inadequate. This experience was frustrating, unsafe, and completely unprofessional.

Overall, we are happy with the results. The new roof looks great. Our issues dealt with managing expectations. 1) When the rep visited us (Gage), one of the biggest selling points for us was the fact that the yard would be protected above & beyond a 'typical' roofing job. The picture in the briefing showed a tarp slide that would have protected the plants and reduced the debris and plant destruction. When the crew arrived, they barely tarped one section of the front and back, totalling about 25% of the yard. Debris, however, surrounded the entire house. Some plants got damaged. They did clean up when all the work was done. 2) There was a language barrier. The workers showed up as scheduled, but were unable to answer questions we had. The foreman (Kevin) was working multiple locations, and didn't show up until the early afternoon. I was able to text him, but it would have been good to have an English speaker at the very beginning. 3) The project took two days, not the planned 1 day.

I’m extremely blessed with the work that was done on my gutters - not only the quality of the work but how quickly it was done, how well it was explained to me, and how they paid attention to details. Jose and Luis did a great job, even going the extra mile sweeping down spiderwebs on my porch that has nothing to do with the gutters. I highly recommend them.

The gutter install was very fast and Darryl was great but my only concern was the lack of communication of timing of the install

Home genius exteriors was very timely, courteous and professional during my roof replacement. Knowledge too. Will likely recommend to others who need roof work.

Mr. AJ Smith and the team who installed my roof were quite professional and friendly. Mr. Smith explained everything to me , fook me through the final walk through with ease. A great professional!
