Write a ReviewDid a great job, timely work.
Very prompt, knowledgeable, and skilled group of roofers. I'm most satisfied with the quality of their repairs, and it's great to have the peace of mind that their five-year warranty offers.

Great customer service. We requested some pictures of the roof, before n after and the job was warranty for a few years which we loved.A family business that remind you of the good old day.
Really a joy to work with Henry and his team. Extremely prompt, polite, and thoroughly skilled. We were shown the warning signs to be wary of, everything was clearly explained, and there was no hard selling whatsoever. Our brick walls and chimney now look amazing.
This company offered excellent customer service. They did a wonderful job on my roof and offered a five year warranty in case I need them again. He explained everything that needed to be done in a very polite and professional manner, plus his price was competitive. Very pleased and will refer him to my friends and neighbors in the future. Henry Stewart did not disappoint, so glad I found him to do my roof work.
H Stewart Roofing deserves a Merit Badge for going above and beyond. He and his crew consistently impressed me, a detail-oriented person with high expectations. It was evident that they take pride in the quality of their work and in their customers satisfaction. I highly recommend them and will use them again for my future roofing needs. Before the job... Henry struck me as honest, providing good advice that was in line with what I had heard from trusted sources. He answered all of my detailed questions in a methodical and professional manner. He was responsive, getting back to my emails and texts usually within a few hours. Without being told of our bedroom cooling issue, he correctly identified that we had a warm room under a particularly bad area of our roof. His bid was competitive. During the job... He and his crew were thorough and installed solutions that exceeded functional requirements. They were accountable and invited scrutiny of their work; they even invited me to join them on the roof (which I did for much of the job) and to inspect it after it was completed (only do so at your own risk and with all safety precautions taken). They were responsive, addressing every question and issue I pointed out. After the job... Henry remained responsive to my communications. They came back out to inspect their work and to apply a second coat (see section -What the H Stewart crew did-). Our main roof issue: The primary reason we looked into recoating the roof was due to a cooling issue inside the home. The master bedroom was consistently 10-15 degrees warmer than the HVAC thermostat in the summer. We were advised that a new reflective coating would help with the temperature difference. How it turned out: OMG WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! While we addressed the bedroom cooling issue several ways (more aggressive dehumidifier setting, floor register booster, and the roof coating), the reflective roof coating made an incredible difference. Whatever we set the HVAC to, the bedroom will typically be no more than 3 degrees warmer and often cools to the set-point, even during the current heat wave. What the H Stewart Roofing crew did: Filled in all cracks with a waterproof sealant. Covered all cracks, old patches, a section of roof that had standing water, and around all outcrops with new roofing rubber (not patching material). I estimate that about 5% of my roof was covered with new rubber. Replaced the rain diverter with one that actually covered the necessary span. Fixed and sealed the flashing in several places. Coated the entire roof with APOC 208. Henry himself, and his father Ed, laid down the coating. While there was little over-paint and spillage, they cleaned to my satisfaction. The project was completed in less than a day. However, the part that really impressed me... 5 days after the job, I went up on the roof to inspect the work (do so at your own risk). The coating appeared to be thin in a few places, possibly due to how dry the roof was. I emailed pictures to Henry. The next day, he was back on my roof to inspect it. Within hours, he had his crew back out to put a second layer of the coating over the entire roof for free. They clearly take pride in the quality of their work. Who else we considered: We first reached out to the roofer who had previously coated the roof (hired by the prior owner). Their bid, while the lowest cost (by only a few hundred dollars), was poorly presented. When I followed-up with questions, they ghosted me. They did not respond to calls and texts regarding a roof emergency that they had agreed to fix next-day but never showed up for. I was not impressed with them. We also reached out to a large brand-name company. Their bid was for a complete roof replacement at $30k. While their system sounded impressive, we were not in the market for a complete roof replacement.
