Reviews
Write a Review**UPDATE: after posting my initial review, the owner reached out to me to thank me for my honesty, to apologize for not delivering the product and service that they promise and are known for, and to offer to make things right. I said he could just give me a bit of a discount and call it a day, but he said he couldn't do that knowing I'd still be unhappy every time I looked at the patio. He explained in depth how the process should have gone and where they fell short, and scheduled a day when he and the crew would come back to do the job again. That was last Friday - Patrick and Rob were here most of the day, and Patrick even came back to finish up a couple of things after the coating cured. I couldn't be happier, it looks great! Patrick was very apologetic, as well, and it was evident how sincere he and the owner were and how much pride they take in their work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is wanting to upgrade an outdoor patio / concrete area. I hear they are awesome with garages, too! I wish I could hire them for all of my contractor needs! I wanted to love the work that Hello Garage did on my patio, especially after seeing what my neighbor's looked like, but the quality is lacking. I had an appointment to get the polyaspartic coating done on my patio back in June. The day of my appointment (a Monday), the patio had too much moisture due to overnight rain, so I was told they would work me in on Wednesday and would be bringing a propane grinder to finish prepping it first. When the crew arrived on Wednesday at around 4:30pm (first red flag) without the grinder, I was confused. When I asked about it, I was told the prep work had already been done (2nd red flag). They explained they were going to repair/fill in any pits and cracks, let that cure, then continue with the remaining steps. To my surprise, they were done within 1 - 1.5 hours. They had me check it out before leaving, and everything looked great at the time because it was all still wet. It wasn't until two days later that I went out and stood on it that I noticed all of the pits were still VERY visible. AND some of the coating got slopped up on my screen and patio door, which I thought they would have cleaned off. I looked at the brochure the salesman left, as well as their website, and the photos on both seemed to imply that any pits and blemishes would be covered over better than what mine were. So I messaged Patrick (who was here the first day, and who was the one that told me they would be bringing the propane grinder, but he was not part of the team that came back) and sent pictures, asking if I was expecting too much for the pits to not be that noticeable still... he assured me that I wasn't. A couple of guys came back out to take a look, one of them even saying that if they had noticed how the pits were still visible before they left on the day that they applied the coating, they would have done something to fix it then, that this was NOT the quality of work that they do. He explained that he was going to refill them (if that is even the right term, I'm not sure if it is and apologize if it's not) and add some extra flake to the cracks that were still visible in the joints. Not even 30 minutes later, they were done. Basically, some stuff was slapped on top of the pits, so not only can you still see them, but you can see the "patchwork". And several of the pits weren't even re-done. Like I said, my neighbor recommended them, and I was SO excited to get my patio done after seeing how amazing his looks. Am I glad I got it done? Yes. Do I think it was worth the $2000+ I spent? For the overall look, no, especially when it was admitted that this is not the quality of work that they do. I honestly feel like the work was rushed since they got here so late in the day, and - if they had been able to stick to the original appointment - more care would have been taken to do everything correctly.
Great customer service, product, and attention to detail. Had some snags with scheduling, but overall good experience and Patrick, the production manager, communicated well and kept me informed the whole time. Chad, the owner, even came to help install with Patrick and they let my kids help which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend.
I knew I wanted a polyaspartic product so I searched out companies, Hello Garage was one of the few to use a full polyaspartic process. The quote process, contact before hand was professional. They have many choices and bring samples to your quote appointment so you can be comfortable with your color choice. Truman and Samuel were on time, professional, polite and happy - which you get some contractors who are grumpy and just want to get the job done. Not with these two, they believe in their product and seem to enjoy their job. The total application process took a little over 6 hours for my 3 car garage. I highly recommend Hello Garage.
They did a great job on the floor. They put up slat wall and a cabinet and shelves. Great, great job. Everything looks nice.
They did excellent work! I have already recommended their services to 2 of my close friends
Friendly and professional
