I hired Henry Forrest and his team to tuckpoint and waterproof part of the stone foundation of my 157-year-old house in Old Ellicott City. The work looks great and Henry and his team were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They did exactly what was on the contract and it took the time and cost that I was quoted. My wife and I are very happy with the work and we will look to them again when the time comes to touch up the other walls of the foundation. Would recommend.

My ceiling leak signaled a roof or chimney problem. A deteriorating chimney crown required the skill of a mason. The family business of H. Forrest provides masonry, as well as roofing, and expertly restored it. All chimney flashing was resealed, too. Tuck pointing the entire 66-year-old brick chimney was also accomplished. The experience of the team was evident as they worked together effectively and efficiently. Nice to get a warranty, too. I highly recommend the business of H. Forrest in Ellicott City MD.

The brick work and foundation repair Mr. Forrest performed on my house was excellent. In my opinion, it was comparable in appearance and quality to the brick work found on historic homes in Georgetown and in Colonial Williamsburg. He delivered on everything he promised. The first company I contracted with to do this work for me ended up damaging my existing brick work and foundation, took my money and never did the work promised. I am a widow living on a fixed income. Mr. Forrest not only did the work I needed to be done with great attention to detail, but he also helped me to get back most of the money I had lost to the first company that had scammed me. You canâ t do better than to hire this man. He is a perfectionist in his work and he is honest and trustworthy. He will definitely be the person I call for all my future projects.

Great service, very reliable

We had approximately 180 square feet of plywood roof soffits that needed to be replaced due to areas of rot. We have a small townhouse, so even to have all of our soffits replaced was not a very big job, and we had a great deal of trouble finding a contractor who would either consider the job or would do the work for a reasonable price. H. Forrest Roofing not only took the small job, but did quality work at a reasonable price. He replaced all of our old plywood soffit with new vented vinyl soffits and greatly increased the ventilation in our attic as a result. Mr. Forrest was communicative throughout the process, and his crew arrived exactly when we were told to expect them.

They were very accommodating to my budget. Also efficient and timely in their work.

Matthew came out with his crew of 5 and did exactly what he said he would do and when he would do the job. Showed me cause of the leak and checked to see if any other damage. Job site was cleaned up from top to bottom. Work has a 5 year warranty and a free once a year free inspection to give a peace of mind. Henry Forrest was able to work with me on an unusual project. As a team we got perfect results.

My job was as small as they come, replacing only one roof tile. Job was well done and done fast. I knew i would have to be a work-in schedule wise and I would have to be patient. Scheduled time was not met and did not receive a phone call about a new time. 1.5 days later, Contractor showed up un-announced, good thing I was home (almost called another contractor).. All in all though, job well done and price per quote was well worth the time.
