Install or Replace Seamless Metal Gutters

I had approximately 15 ft of gutter installed on the front of my house. The actual gutter installation seems OK but there is an issue with the corner piece. Since the gutter was installed, the corner has been leaking. I contacted Gutters R US a few days after installation and the owner, Billy, said he would stop by and look at it. That was about 3 weeks ago. I called him again this past Thursday (10-14) and he once again said he would stop at my house. As of today (10-27), he still has not showed up. This is becoming very frustrating since I want this problem fixed before the cold weather sets in and I find myself with an ice issue

Billy was prompt in meeting with me, giving an estimate & being able to immediately do a gutter repair & cleaning. The estimate was reasonable. They removed the debris & worked very expediently. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Repair or Replace Section of Seamless Metal Gutters

Billy responded to my request with in 15 minutes and arrived to give me an estimate/evaluation less then 45 min later. We agreed on the path and prives and he and his worker were back as promised with in 90 min. They cleared the blockage on the gutter originally called about, inspected and cleared to other as well and replaced the two floor elbow outlets. The work was professional, clean and thorough extremely satisfied and Highly recommend

Clean Gutters and Downspouts

Bill called me within minutes of my inquiry. Within an hour came over to give me an extremely reasonable estimate and promised to be back about 4 o'clock to do the job if I accepted his services. He and Frank not only cleaned my gutters but make sure my roof was completely clean. My house is surrounded by huge 75 year old trees and with the weather we've been having my roof was an absolute mess. Even with the extra work he handed me a bill for the original estimate I voluntarily added an additional amount because of a job well done.

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
