Deceitful conduct in an attempt to convince me to replace the entire unit. Bus. manager off-site attempted to tell me the tech hooked a new compactor onto my unit and discovered a leak. The unit was never turned on or running. The camera shows a tech assessing unit and entering the home three times in a total of 13:22 minutes in the rain. It takes longer to connect a new compactor and test. I was also told I need a new coil, have a leak, need a new compressor. The Bus. Mgr. also claims she advised the tech as to what to state and on phone the entire time back and forth. Not true. That would imply some incompetence. I do not think that is the issue. I do believe the initial assessment was correct, but he saw a potential sale based upon age. The majority of the time spent pitching to me various possibilities related to the repair in my home. Good practices lead to repeat and ongoing business. Instead, you made it harder to trust technicians.

In order to assess the refrigerant issue, our technician needed to get the system running first to be able to provide you with a thorough diagnosis. For this reason he quickly connected a new capacitor to get an idea of the system refrigerant charge.
