Glenn Julian was amazing! Great customer service is a lost art form but not with this company. I had just about given up on Home Advisor as the last 3 recommendations were quite unfavorable, when I decided to make one last service request... To my disbelief I got a call back just minutes after my service request. For me, that was ultra fast service! Glenn came early the next day and fixed both my units. He even added a hard switch for added protection. He explained a multitude of good info to me about my cooling system. I was very pleased. It was a bit pricey but a lot cheaper than getting a new unit. I highly recommend this guy and his company. Thanks Glenn & Good Value Home Repair! You saved my summer ..

This is a company everyone should have in their go-to. Glenn was very professional and fixed the problem quickly. I will not hesitate to call him if I need further AC work. UPDATE. I called and left a message for additional work and he did not respond.

Glenn Julian from Good Value Heating Air Conditioning was knowledgeable, had the capacitors with him and gave us the various cost estimates for what could be the problem to fix from one capacitor to both capacitors and maybe the fan motor too. The problem was that the fan motor was not turning. However, the compressor was working. We said to install a new hard start and capacitor kit. It took him about 20 minutes to do the work. Oh ya, we are having six days of over 105 degree days in Sacramento. I feel that the $375 bill was overpriced a bit ($300/hr labor fee) but he got it done quickly and the fan motor works fine. He said the compressor and fan motor sounded good and checked the inlet and outlet air temperature in the house. Glenn wasn't due to arrive until the next morning but called and said he could be over the evening before. We were not willing to go through 3 quotes, select one and have to wait that time in this heat to get it fixed. All said, we are satisfied. Oh ya, he also mentioned that a current customer is waiting parts so he brought them a portable ac unit to help endure the heat. I guess one could go to a mall all day. Most evenings cool down in the Sacramento area so that we can run our whole house fan and not the ac all night. A real plus.
