Fox Moving and Storage of East Tennessee, LLC

Used this company a couple of years ago, and they did well. Went with them again for a bigger move and the quality was not as good. Scratches on the furniture, used couch cushions for packing pads and still waiting for the bed frame.

Fox Moving and Storage is one of the shadiest and dishonest companies I have ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with. First, Donna in their office asked for an inventory of our belongings. She said a quote from another company would work. We provided a quote from another company and she said they were going to use that. She updated our quote to included an *inventory* charge but when she did that, she reduced the amount of weight by several thousand pounds which in turn cost us hundreds in overages. Second, we asked for the extra 10k worth of insurance coverage because we have a lot of high-end furniture. The movers refused to wrap over 10k worth of aluminum outdoor furniture. Almost all of this furniture was chipped, scratched, or scraped, right down the aluminum. When we went to file the claim, they said we opted out of it by accepting their crappy basic coverage which their lead guy Yoniel said was included no matter what and we would be covered by both. He flat out lied, by accepting their basic coverage we are not covered by the higher insurance. Third, they gouged our brand new wooden floor in our brand new house. This gouge was huge and went across 3 Fourth, they left a bunch of indoor shelves outside on our back porch, these are too heavy for my wife and I to lift by ourselves, we did not realize they did not bring them inside until they had left. This was very sloppy and lazy because it is obvious these belong inside. Lastly, while most of the crew was very nice, there were some disgruntled movers who purposely put boxes wherever they wanted or just flat out did not unwrap furniture when delivered. This was minor compared to the first three issues but still annoying.

The guys did well. Unloaded a 26 ft U-Haul in 2 hours. Showed extra care to special items . Thanks, Fox

we needed to move the whole house content in town I made a query on Home Advisor. Although several companies contacted me Fox was the only one who provided detailed information and followed up as opposed to others who just wanted to make a quick sale. Donna (customer service) was awesome and was very responsive and helped me every step of the way and was very accommodating. The person who came to do the estimate was very friendly and also accommodating. The moving crew was also very helpful, respectful of our goods and very efficient. I would highly recommend Fox and will definitely use them again in the future.

Excellent service! Taran runs the show and set it all up for me with ease and comfort level! The moving staff was professional and efficient! They even brought back my family photo that got left on the truck !!
