The team at Five Star Painting of Columbia, MD are professional and lovely to work with. I requested a call back for an assessment and within 20 minutes I was speaking with a representative and had a consultation booked for the very next week. Lee Summerlin did my consultation. He was personable and kind. He helped me visualize my desired design and offered me fair estimate. Kevin Woolley was the Project Manager for the team who completed my project. He was thorough and made sure he had all of the details sorted before his team began. Kevin was also very considerate that I am a woman who was alone in the apartment at the time and made sure to ask permission when entering or where I would be most comfortable while the team worked. Since I was leaving to work, he kept me updated throughout the process. Overall, Five Star Painting of Columbia, MD did amazing work that is leading to my apartment feeling more like a home.

The initial discussion and estimate were excellent. There were some communication problems with the on-site supervisor. The estimated told me it would be a 2-3 day project which seemed about right. But the first day turned out to be the only day and I had the impression that finishing in one day was too much the goal. The actual painting was fine, but I think more time should have been spent on prep - cleaning, sanding, caulking. They did come a day earlier to power wash. The three painters worked efficiently.

We had the entire inside of the house painted. Lee appraised the job and was very helpful. Spiro managed the job and we couldnâ t have asked for a more accommodating guy. Great paint job by Elmer, Jose and Hernan. Very professional and responsive. We picked the wrong black paint for the banister (not black enough) but Five Star quickly got the appropriate black paint and our staircase looks great. Would definitely recommend this team.
