First Call Garage Doors

Paul was prompt, respectful and took the time to show me how everything works.

Our Liftmaster garage door opener failed in July. Used homeadvisor to find service, and after answering a few questions, Paul literally had called me within 2 minutes of hitting the submit button. We discussed the problem, and did some troubleshooting over the (breakers, GFI) phone and both felt that a power surge had likely fried the unit. We scheduled service to replace the entire unit for today (Monday), and Paul was 20 minutes early for a 3pm appt!. We went into the garage and i showed what i had checked and he looked across the garage and found a second GFI outlet that had tripped which was the circuit the opener was on. Honest to a fault!! he reset the GFI outlet and bingo, it worked. Cost of a service call and the problem was solved. Not sure other service providers out there would have been as honest. While he was here, we installed an exterior access pad as well. Even though I'm embarrassed not to figure out that there were 2 GFI circuits in the garage (i assumed there would only be one and i had tried to reset that during trouble-shooting), I am super impressed at the level of service we received from the time we requested a quote, up to and thru resolution. We would HIGHLY recommend Paul as your first call if you need service.

Paul was very meticulous and took the time to survey the job and tell us exactly what was needed so we wouldn’t have problems in the future. We had 3 other companies come out and they never took the time like Paul did. I would highly recommend him!
