We just completed a rather complicated renovation/kitchen installation project with Efim. Forget the over priced, pretentious contractors out there trying to milk Chicago's wealthy North Shore homeowners. I rolled the dice on the fairest estimate I received and have never looked back. Efim is a pleasure to work with and has a cadre of subcontractors that aim to please. He has personally solved a dozen issues along the way that other "specialists" gave up on. And, importantly, the end result is gorgeous. Couldn't recommend him more highly.

I remodeled my kitchen laundry and half bath. Drywall, Floors, Insulation, Electrical. Needed to get me to a blank canvas and I could take it from there. This was my 1st experience with EP Construction. I ended up contracting them for an open concept kitchen. I was looking over a year, trying directly through the Kitchen Designer stores and other general contractors their mark ups were too high. Efim's pricing came in reasonable. I ended up spending more than my original project quote, but it was expected because we did discuss the possibility of finding errors that needed to be corrected once the walls were opened up. Efim showed up almost everyday to check the progress of his men. He was available for calls/text when I had questions and he kept me informed or discussed problem and solution options for next stages of work. I was really impressed with the pride of work displayed by his lead Jerry and his tile person Victor. I would definitely recommend him and will be contacting Efim for future projects.

We had a great experience working with Efim and his team. The quality of the work was top-notch, and his crew was punctual, professional, and tidy. Our project was delivered on time and on budget. We would definitely use Efim for future projects.

We hired Efim to remodel and renovate a very old Laundry/utility room. New floor, cabinets, paint, window and exterior door. His team did a great job and brought to our attention some exterior rotted wood siding that needed to be replaced due to an older leaky window. As with all remodels, we continued to modify a few other items and his team was happy to perform the work at a reasonable price. They show up on time and clean up after themselves. Efim is very knowledgeable and a hands on contractor.

My wife and I purchased a home in May in Wilmette. Our home was built in 1955 and had been partially renovated. After moving in we decided to get our Sunroom and Basement renovated. We interviewed 3 different companies that we found through Home advisor and we were extremely happy with Efim. Efim was extremely helpful in giving us ideas on how to design our spaces. He would always answer our calls and would consult with us anytime we had a cost concern. This was our first home and first renovation project and we felt extremely comfortable asking Efim questions no matter how big or small. The project was completed on time and we are extremely happy with the results.

We hired them for a lot of home repairs as we were selling the house. They made concrete stairs in the garden, made space for heating pipes, installed fire proof door for attic and various other things. Responsive and nice. Good price. Quality is OK.

I recently hired Efim Pressman with EP Home Improvements to remodel a bathroom and vestibule for my home to update the look of my first floor. From estimate to punch list completion, Efim and his firm were efficient and honest. They completed the project on time and as proposed, and communicated clearly every step of the way, including any necessary add-ons or change orders. The powder room is beautiful and the entire look of my home has been transformed. I highly recommend using Efim Pressman.
