Excellent job.

Hired Ed to finish basement drywall that was in various stages of finished from previous owners. Ed came over and gave me a very well priced quote. . Ed started the next day at 7am. He was on time day one and every other day he showed up. I knew the framing and drywall already installed was DIY and was expecting to see flaws. No due to Edâ s work but due to the template he was working with. I have to say, the drywall installation, taping and finishing are flawless. Areas I thought wouldnâ t look right, are perfect. Ed even pointed out an area with a pipe sticking through the ceiling, but you can barely tell itâ s even there. Do yourself a favor and hire Ed for you drywall work.

Iâ ve worked in the construction and drywall industry for many years and have seen both poor and high quality taping and drywall finishing. Ed is one of the best, if not the best taper and finisher that I have ever seen. It is clear that he takes pride in his work and professionalism. If you are considering hiring Ed for your job and you have to wait a week or two, he is well worth the wait. If you want a high quality job and a contractor who is punctual, and does the best work possible, you risk that hiring anyone else. It was a pleasure having Ed tape and finish my garage. It actually looks better than the drywall finish in my house.

I was in the process of updating a room in my basement and I knew I would need some assistance with the drywall. I used Home Advisor to find contractors in my area and received responses from a handful of businesses. I spoke with Ed directly and he was very personable. Even before we agreed to work together he gave me some helpful advice and shared his thoughts on the project. Based on our constructive interaction, I decided to choose Ed. Although I was still in the planning phase and did not have an exact date for the drywall work, Ed assured me that he would be available when the time came. He was not wrong. I set a deadline at the beginning of the project, and when my timeline shifted due to some delays, Ed remained flexible. When I finally finished hanging the drywall, Ed was at my house the following day to begin taping. Once his portion of the job started, Ed didnâ t disappoint. He showed up on time and got straight to work. He finished taping in four days, which is what I needed to meet my deadline. Ed also communicated well and kept me informed throughout the process. When he was finished, the drywall looked great! Ed took my average work and made it look professional. Iâ m really happy with the results.
