Write a ReviewAfter a routine service, Nate (the son of the owner) spoke to my husband about the fact that a new unit would be recommended. We arranged a meeting to discuss this so that I could be included. There were several financing packages, and since we indicated a desire for a lower payment Nate steered us to one that he said would be $122.86/month for 79 months. (I think he actually said 79.3, but not positive on the decimal). I questioned Nate several times on this because while the financing plan said about 10% interest, the payments that he quoted were basically resulting in a no-interest loan. He insisted that this was what our payment would be for 79 months based on 1.25% of the loan amount is our payment. After going around with him several times, and he repeatedly guaranteeing this amount and term, we believed him and signed off. Based on this we recommended it to our daughter. When he went to see her, she was given roughly the same estimate (125 and change for 79 months.) Our daughter received a statement from the loan company, after the unit was installed (we have yet to get this, although I am sure we will.) According to the document, her minimum payment is the amount that Nate quoted her, and if she pays that amount, it will take her 11 years to pay off, and she will pay over $6K in interest. I texted Nate on 12/5 and was pleasantly surprised that he called me back. When I explained my concerns, I reiterated our conversation about the payment amount and that he had said we would have to pay for 79 months. At his request I sent him a screenshot of the statement, he said that he did everything like Synchrony said to do it, and it should match what he told me. He said that they would contact Synchrony on Monday and get back to me. When the owner, Eric, called me on Tuesday, he basically insinuated that all three of us ( my husband, my daughter, and me) had misunderstood and when I insisted that Nate be included in the conversation, Nate absolutely denied that he had told us that that the payments would last 79 months, even though on Saturday he had completely agreed with me. He insisted that we had all agreed that those numbers (79 months - $122.86) did not add up - absolutely untrue. I was the one that questioned the payments/installment/interest rate figures that he had given. He repeated to me several times that the payment amount was for 79 months, insisted that was all we would owe. We even discussed, at our meeting, that it would be great that we would pretty much have the unit paid off when the warranty and our service plan ended. Today he insisted that he never said that and that we misunderstood. As I explained to Eric and Nate, we are not rookies at this, have had several of these types of accounts where is the loan was paid off, there was no interest, and in trusting Nate, assumed that this was the case. We are also not financially insecure but just did not want to dip into our savings, which we had also made clear to Nate. What we feel the worst about is that we recommended them to our daughter, a single homeowner, who now is stuck with a much longer time, or higher payment, to pay this loan off. So beware of their financing, and again, get Everything in writing - even the fact that there were three of us who heard the same thing did not make a difference when reasoning with them. Our fault for trusting, but do not want someone else to get the surprise that we did.

Thanks so much, Marina for your review. We value our customers and always will put your comfort first.
Nate was very knowledgeable gave us a few different options that will help us Benefit the most. Nobody likes expensive home repairs but it’s a part of being a home owner. They did inflate the cost of motor then if we just bought it ourselves but with the comfort of a expert repairing it and not your husband possibly doing more damage to our unit it was worth the peace of mind and maintenance plan.
