Mr. Deavers put me and my family in a very difficult situation. We needed home remodeling after Harvey flooding where some structural changes were required. Despite his promise to deliver within short time he ended up dragging the project for 3-4 weeks and after multiple drawing revisions the drawing he provided couldn't be accepted by City of Houston. I asked him to revise the plan and when he came to my house to take another look after the walls were open. He only offered restoration of original walls and when challenged to find a working solution (we ordered a kitchen based on his original drawings) he just stormed out of the house. Extremely unprofessional and lazy. Never seen such a lack of respect towards engineering in my life.

Most of what is said in the review is false. The client became unhappy with contractor and took out on our company. I personally visited his house 5 different times

Larry was very professional and pointed out what he would recommend in order for my project ( roof added to deck) to be secure and withstand strong winds. I followed his lead and had my installers use " tie downs" to help secure the roof to post. Would recommend Larry to anyone needing a Professional Engineer.
