Dans Painting Service was called when another contractor who started the job had completed it only in part. Due to their pressure washing the roof with too much pressure, much of the dormer and fascia trim upstairs on our large and once lovely home was left poorly. Some parts were damaged. Dan and crew helped to get the bad business that occurred repaired as well as possible and our house looks almost new again. We are so pleased by their expert repairs where they could make them and also where they finished the job in three days. I am so grateful that they could come in and take on the mess and were so professional and quick to see that we are now sealed in for winter with the lovely coat of white satin paint that makes our house glisten again. We have a very steep roof and the trim boards on all of the dormers and some siding, too, were extremely difficult to reach. It was a dangerous and exhausting job just to carry and control the high ladders they had to use. Had they not been such experienced men, they probably would not have even wanted to help us out. We were left with only four warm days predicted,so Dan went more than the extra mile to get the job done . I am extremely grateful to him and to his crew and will hire him back again! He does stand behind his work and checked to see that all was done to our complete and happy satisfaction.

I recently had to have my house painted. I have lived in the house since 2011 when it was built. The paint used by the builder hasnâ t held up very well. I went on a search for a painter that wasnâ t going to rob the bank but do a better job and that would last longer than the current paint job. I got several bids and of course most of them wanted to start right away without any research from me. I finally found Dan on home advisor. I sent him a request he called and came out to my home. I explained that I wasnâ t in a hurry but i wanted a good job and the wanted the paint to last longer than the current paint. Dan is a laid back kind of guy just wanting to do the job and make sure your happy with the outcome. I knew the base color I wanted but had not picked out the trim yet. Dan gave me a day or two then contacted me to see how i was doing. I hadnâ t pick out the color yet but was going to do it over the weekend. He was okay and said let me know. I had another bid come in while i was finding trim colors and that really sealed the deal. Dan was my painter. I found the colors i wanted got the samples from the local store then looked up the paint on consumers reports. Not knowing too much about paint i called the store and asked about the consumer reports findings. I picked a higher priced paint then what was offered and dan had no problem using the paint i wanted. Same brand just a higher quality. The difference in price was minimal and worth it to me. Dan only charged me what he had to pay for the higher cost of the paint. The bid had already been agreed upon at this point. Dan would always let me know when he would be showing up to work. He was able to start and stop without any direction from me. I kept telling him I wasnâ t in a hurry I just wanted it done correctly. My wife and i walked the house several times and Dan was always there to touch up anything we found. I think i saw him go around the house several times just looking for any touch ups. The paint job is complete and we both love it. I would recommend Dan for any paint needs you have. When i get ready for more paint i will be calling him.

Dan did a fine job and I d hire him again. Laid back in his approach to negotiation of contact but does what he says and works hard. Stands behind his work.

Dan was flexible concerning what portion of the large arbor to paint. He identified and repaired siding damage on the south side of my house. His many years of providing painting services were evident in the results. He was prompt and cleaned up after the job. He even remounted a rain chain for me.

Hired Dan to give the house a fresh coat of paint before putting it up for sale. The communication was quick during the estimation phase but became really slow to respond once the bid was accepted and the job started. The job on the accent wall was done very poorly, with paint bleeding over to the adjacent walls. Promised it will be fixed but nothing after 4 days. Would not recommend.
