was very hesitant hiring a contractor that I didn't know to come and give an estimate for a roof tear-off and install new asphalt shingles & skylights. After meeting Sam and his wife I felt at ease and knew that he would do a great job. I was satisfied with his bid and it was closer to my ballpark than the other bid I received. Sam & his crew showed up on the start date and every day after until it was finished. Even on a holiday. Also, job site was spotless every day before they left. Sam was very up front and approachable as to any questions or concerns I had about the project. Always kept me in the loop as to what was going on that particular day. I felt like he would have done just as good of a job even on his own house. I'm very happy with the final product. This is a company with high integrity and would not hesitate to hire them again knowing what I know now.

Sam is honestly the best contractor I've ever hired. We replaced the roofing on our house. Despite finding lots of wood rotted, he talked to me about my options, and was always sharing concern for my budget. We did quotes from 4 or 5 different contractors and he was able to come equal to the most competitive quotes but with better shingles. Even if he was more money, I still would have hired him. He took the time to take me and show me some of his previous work to help my wife and I choose a color. My advice, listen to his color recommendation! My wife and I chose grey despite Sam recommending Charcoal. After my wife saw the dark underlayment, she decided she wanted Charcoal the day before they began shingling. Sam and his team had the shingle supplier come out and deliver the charcoal shingles and returned all the grey shingles immediately--talk about going the extra mile! I didn't know Sam or D G Contracting until finding them on this site...and I promise that you won't be disappointed from the quality of work. Sam is a perfectionist. He even gave me tips about DIY projects around my house!

Very easy to work with and the amount I paid was the amount I was quoted. Prompt service and good communication. The project was replacing a metal roof on a barn and even though the structure was not square or straight, they did a great job making it look good. They took great care in making sure everything was picked up and my yard was clean.

Living in another town, I was very nervous about hiring a roofing company to fix my father's roof. Sam went above and beyond to allay my fears and explain everything he was doing. In the end. he allayed all of my fears and provided quality work in a reasonable time. I would highly recommend this company!

Sam and Gail are a well organized team. They removed our three tab shingles and installed HD shingles. The tear off, inspections and installations of Ice barriers, new felt, New vents, everything was completed to code. Inspection as completed with no noted flaws! The site was cleaned-up every day with all trash removed and hauled away. I highly recommend DG Contracting to our friends and neighbors who have stopped by to comment on our new roof.
