Design & Management Consultare

My front yard looks so good. Every time I drive up to our house I think why didn't I do this years ago! It is such a difficult yard shape, being at the end of a court with shared front yard. I had always thought it was just too difficult and just did not do anything. I am so glad I called Nancy! I like your design - the stipia grasses are mesmerizing to watch. I love its' wave motion in the breezes. The rocks and big boulders look so good and the lighting (love my little "fairy lights" and tree lights) looks great at night. All the choices we made (with all of your input) were very good and the work was done in a timely fashion in spite of the winter weather. Everything is performing very well and I'm now waiting for the crepe myrtle to bloom. Your follow-up advice regarding irrigation and fertilizing helped a great deal, as I was not able at the time to keep track of it all. All our friends (and even the workmen) who have come to our house have been effusive about our front yard! Our friends say "Wow, what a difference, looks so much better!

Most of the job was done on evenings and week-ends which means the workers are doing this as a second job.... But the biggest issue I have is that we were charged much more than what we had agreed on. Our stamped concrete was not good and even the landscaper agreed but she did not do anything to improve it. After the project was done, she never followed up like she said she would do, some plants died almost right away. When she kept asking for more money, we tried checking her license, only to find out she has lost it. Our mistake, we should have checked before.

It was very pleasant working with Nancy Broadway. She was creative and we worked well together.We asked Nancy to help us on the final layout of the plants & she showed us the proper way to break the flagstone. Overall the project turned out fine and I would rehire her again. Also I learned about several new species I had not used in the past.

Our front yard was absolutely transformed from a flat ugly rectangle of brown crabgrass to something that is interesting, unique, and beautiful. The design is different yet blends well with the surroundings and low/ to no maintenance. We found Nancy to be extremely responsive, attentive and the project was completed in no time at all. Nancy uses nothing but the best quality of materials and was a constant presence throughout all aspects of this project. We loved her work so much we now have her working on a design for our backyard. Nancy is a pleasure to work with, extremly professional, very knowledgeable and generous of her time.

I was looking for a professional to come up with a plan including planting and irrigation details that would include a number of items I wanted in my backyard. With just a few meetings with Nancy she provided what I was looking for. It included the elements I wanted in a well thought out plan. The plan accomodated the long-term vision for an addition to the house with an interim solution for the area that will be affected.

I chose Nancy to work with because she had a much better handle on what I was looking for. She was exceptionally professional. We are still discussing design ideas, but I have told her that I would recommend her.

Nancy Broadway provided a solid, professional, well thought out design and proposal with which she was very willing to work with us on timing, changes, and costs. Her management of the job site was priceless as she completely took that concern out of our hands and handled everything herself and kept contractors/workers in check. If something wasn't done as she had expected, it was corrected immediately. We completely trusted that the job would be completed with everything that we had agreed upon. Her follow-up afterwards has been exemplary and she makes herself available to answer any questions or concerns we have! Bravo Nancy!

Kept us up to date on the job. Explained any problems and their solution. Work generally completed satisfactorily and on time. Listened to and incorporated our suggestions. We are well pleased.
