Extremely disappointed. This was the worst home improvement project we have ever experienced. When they were preparing to install the concrete steps to our back door, they removed too much of the vinyl siding. We now have a 1-inch gap between the siding and edge of the second step. The owner said there was nothing he could do to fix it. They certainly could have adjusted the form for the step to close the gap before they poured the steps but failed to do so. They disposed of the siding they removed so we can't make a filler piece to fill the gap. One of the crew entered our house, without permission when we weren't home, to throw away their trash and set off our security system. They should not have entered our garage without our permission and they should have taken the trash with them. They dry saw cut a portion of our driveway that was to be removed and replaced. The dry cutting of the concrete left concrete dust all over the outside of our house, inside our garage, everything inside the garage, our vehicles and neighbor's vehicle. Again, they left mess that we had to clean up. They got concrete splatter on our siding, screens, doors and door frames and didn't bother to clean it off. I understand concrete splashes and they should have protected the surrounding surfaces or wiped off the splatter when it is still wet. They got the concrete coloring on the vinyl siding around the steps and it looks unprofessional. Again they needed to protect the surface or clean it up before they left. I cannot remove the stains from the vinyl siding and am going to have to have it replaced. We have a lot of clean up to do because of their poor attention to detail and sloppy work. We wouldn't recommend this company.

    Response from Company:

Mrs. [Consumer name withheld at their request], Thank you for the opportunity to serve you on your patio. It looks incredible. I normally would never respond to something like this, so please forgive me.. If I may, I would like to add a few details that you missed... 1. Yes, in cutting in your 14 ft steps, we had to cut the siding, and we left a 3/4" gap in the siding, perfect for a piece of J Channel to be inserted (which is not at all uncommon). I was never asked to move any forms, contrary to your claim. 2. Our crew entered your garage, but were granted permission to do so by you the day we began your project. In an effort to clean up the job, we attempted to throw away a few bottles, unaware that you had left. In all the jobs weve ever done, nobody has ever objected to us using their trash can, but you. Has it occurred to you that you may be being a bit petty here? Once the alarm went off, I called you immediately. Our apologies. 3. Since we were given permission to enter the garage, I personally shut both garage doors myself to ensure no dust would enter. When cutting concrete outside in the open air, water is not necessary and would actually cause a bigger mess. Again, may I say that both garage doors were shut before any concrete was cut. 4. Concrete spatter is unavoidable, but our crew always works to remove it as best we can, and your job was no exception to that rule. In your own words you and your husband both said that you were "happy with the patio. I can honestly say that our crew did everything we could to accommodate you, but to no avail. My conscience is clear. Our history with our customers would agree with me. We value all our customers, including you, and we continually seek to serve them with dignity, honor, integrity and a job well done. Again, thank you for the work and have a blessed day, Jeremy Candelaria Creative Concrete & Stone

Jeremy and the crew did a spectacular job on my concrete patio. They worked around my time frame and were very communicative. The patio looks absolutely amazing. Will be doing business with them again.

Jeremy has restored my faith in the service industry. He showed up when he said he would, he provided the services he promised and he provided exceptional craftsmanship. Jeremy also stayed late on a Friday night to seal the concrete when he saw that the weather over the next week was going to be cold and wet. My patio is protected and looks great. Thank you for your outstanding work. I would recommend Creative Concrete to anyone looking for brick or concrete work.
