Beware of using this company when purchasing a home especially if the previous owner recommends them, I believe they were either paid off to pass the inspection on my home or are simply incompetent at their job. My home passed inspection. Immediately after moving in, it was apparent there was a plumbing issue. After calling in a few plumbers it was evident that my home is not properly ventilated. What I did not know, but every inspector/contractor should know is that each plumbing fixture in a home requires air to move water through drainage pipes. Most homes will have a vent stack per bathroom and sometimes even a vent for the kitchen my 3 bathroom home has 1 vent stack. Inspecting this is as simple as standing outside and looking at the roof to count the vent stacks, it does not take any advanced/complicated steps to complete this inspection- my point is that it is easy to check, and does not take an expert to figure out if there is insufficient ventilation for the plumbing. I will now be stuck paying thousands to fix this, and regret trusting the renovators recommendation of using this company. Ted Riddick did my inspection, avoid Ted and County Large Home Inspections and go with a more trusted company!

The mold inspector was very knowledgeable regarding the mold inspection process. He took samples of mold area for lab evaluation and air quality samples to check for mold in the air around the affected area. I was impressed with the thorough process used to check for mold. Mr Riddick the owner checked the air outside that was in close proximity to affected area. He answered all the questions and provided a date for the results of the inspection. Mr Riddick did an outstanding job and would highly recommend him for his service.
