When I contracted with Competence Plastering, Renet the owners sent his brother Jean over to do the work. It was implied that Jean worked worked for Comptence. When he finished he advised me to pay him NOT Competence. On the receipt, not on Competence stationery, he provided to me it stated he was referred by Competence not working for them. When I questioned him he did not answer the question, which means he was not licensed and insured. This is not right being if I would have known, I would have looked for another contractor who was licensed and insured. They did not return my calls except for Jean coming back once to complete the job to put back the numbers on my house. Unfortunately it was not cleaned up properly and when I attempted to clean up the excess adhesive, it pulled off stucco from the wall.

They did a great job and even found a hole behind one of my gutters. That hole caused a leak inside my house periodically and has been driving me crazy for a long time. They were fast, efficient and cleaned up great. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
