Very fast, booked an appointment for testing the next day, had result back from the lab one business day after testing.
They were very helpful and knowledgeable about their craft. Definitely made me feel like I was their top priority. Customer service was fantastic.
Let me start by saying that I have worked with a lot of contractors. I realize things happen and I have always been flexible, giving contractors the benefit of the doubt, and working with them to get things done when unexpected issues arise. BACKGROUND I had flooding in my basement four years ago during the storms of 2016 that hit Denver and flooded several houses in the area. The flood overpowered the French drain and got through the basement walls on one side of the house. I anti-mold painted the drywall inside, removed carpets, cleaned everything as best as could be done without taking out the drywall. Four years later, I was concerned that mold had grown on the inside of the drywall because I noticed some when doing some simple remodeling. I was right. THE BID AND PROJECT So I shopped around. This company gave a great sales pitch. They did a mold analysis test which came back highly positive. $345. After examining the basement and taking samples, they gave me an estimate: $6,815. The bid included containment, negative air fans, debris disposal, drywall cut to 1-2 feet from the floor, fogging interior, post-remediation testing, 3rd party review. I hired them. I will say the crew doing the work was courteous and professional. *None of this is their fault.* However, their time was poorly managed from day one. Communication with management was lacking day-to-day. I often did not know when they were coming. This messed up our schedules over and over. After getting into the drywall removal, they discovered more mold than expected and said they had to remove more drywall than their estimate covered. ANOTHER $3,885. (!). But the same three rooms as the original bid. Huh? The contract says that if any changes or add-ons are needed based on discovery, a change order must be agreed to by the owner (me). They did NOT approve this additional work with me prior. They did the work, then presented me with the add-on bill, and insisted I pay in full. On the spot. To add insult to injury, they left a pile of bags with toxic moldy drywall, PPE, and other trash in the yard near the sidewalk, and could not give me a date when the waste management company would come to pick them up. Imagine a kid or pet getting into it. I insisted it be picked up NOW. They did so eventually. But it sat there two days and nights. The final step was to fog the entire house with a mycotoxin neutralizing agent. They told us it was harmless and we could return to the house 15 minutes after the fogging. When we did, the smell was sickening: a strong clove-ish smell which made our stomachs turn and lungs hurt. We opened all the windows, left for three hours, came back, and it was still strong. We slept with the windows open, and the next morning the smell was still strong although it was better. Three days later as I write this I can still smell remnants. Then they called to ask for the final payment (2nd half of original bid). As I was expressing my dissatisfaction, I was interrupted by the manager who told me I was lucky: *This much work would typically cost over $22,000*, but he did not want to charge me any more than already charged. How in the world could an estimate be off by nearly 400%? How could three rooms of one foot of drywall on 2 or 3 sides of the room removal possibly cost that much? So think twice before hiring this company. I can see being off by 10, 20%. But *60%* is inexcusable, not to mention outrageous insinuations of nearly 400% up-charges. ** They harped heavily on the positive reviews on this site to close the deal. Yet, none of the names people mention are the people who worked with me, and most are dated one-liners. As mentioned above, this bears repeating: Do not believe all the reviews you read here. **
Honest customer feedback is very important to us, however there are many false, serious, and slanderous accusations in this review. We are very sorry that you feel so disgruntled with the extensive mold remediation that we successfully completed on your home. We would be happy to discuss this with you again in further detail if you would give us a call.
Great service! The whole team was awesome from start to finish. I had a deadline to meet and they made sure I was good to go to get my house sold. I couldn't have worked with a better team. They explained everything from start to finish and made sure I understood what was going on. Definitely would hire them again without question!
Thank you for the great review, Andryah! It was truly a pleasure working with you to remediate your home and get it ready to sell. We appreciate you choosing us.
They were quick to respond and able to get my mold issue resolved quickly. I had them come back to fog the whole house to ensure all other potential mold issues were taken care of and they worked within my availability to do so. They were great to work with.
Great service and nice people. Pricing was fair and service was very quick. Other companies wanted to charge double and take twice as long. Will absolutely recommend to anyone with similar testing needs.
Very efficient and got test results next day.
Did a great job
Great Service they did come back and made sure mold is completely removed from the wood.
