Cody Wayne Hansen was quick to give a good bid and quick to collect payment after a new metal roofing job. I was on the roof doing some winterization of my home and I could see Cody did not do the work he said he did. Cody said the roof was vented, but I did not see the venting Cody described. I consulted with another roofer who told me what to look for in venting a metal roof. I do not see the venting Cody said he did and I do not see the venting the other roofer said to look for. I watched several videos on about metal roof venting and I do not believe Codys work is up to accepted industry standards. I have sent Cody several text messages and voice messages over the last more than a month. Cody refuses to contact me. I would like for Cody to contact me so this can be resolved, but I do not believe he will. 06-01-24 Follow up to initial review I had another roofing professional vent the roof that Cody Hansen did not do. He also inspected Cody Hansens work. The roofer said Cody Hansen did a very poor job. There were parts of the roof that were not sealed properly and several of the metal roof panels that were not screwed down. To fix Cody Hansen poor work has cost me an additional couple thousand dollars. Please save yourself the headache and additional expense and DO NOT HIRE Cody Hansen. Also, I found out from the state occupational licensing division that Cody Hansen did not secure the proper building permits to do the initial work. The state fined him for not getting the permits. Very unprofessional, shady company.

With a hole in the roof and rain expected the next day Cody, an experienced guy who came immediately, found the problem, got supplies and workers and fixed the leak will be our first choice as we do further work on our 30 year old roof.
