Circle Diamond Builders, LLC

We hired Circle Diamond on 2/17/25 for a fixed price contract to rebuild our house after a fire. The contract included a draw schedule in 5 payments after the work was completed. This was why we hired them, because we paid money upfront with another builder who took off. Everything was fine until December owner Francisco Rueda wanted to abandon the contract in favor of paying for work that was never completed, like stucco, drywall, closets. Everything time they?d run out of money they demanded more, threatening to quit and file a lien . our living situation was coming to end and we were terrified of having no place to stay, it?s been almost 3 yrs since our house burned down. So we kept paying. After our last payment of $165k, they cashed the check for work not completed, and refused to move forward. No heat, electricity, kitchen, no bathrooms. We paid 90% of the project and they took off, taking $1,900 of Kohler fixtures I?d paid out of pocket. Our only choice is a lawsuit.

Not only is Francisco building our home during a pandemic, but also he has done it while we were stuck in our Arizona house for all but the last few weeks. He has kept in touch with us daily and has done everything in his power to facilitate our requests and time table. The quality of his team's work is superior. We have built 3 custom homes previously and renovated 4 others so we have a strong frame of reference for what it means to find a good contractor. We are in the "home" stretch of this project and can not wait to move into our beautiful and well built home. Thank you Francisco. We recommend him highly to anyone seeking quality work.

We are 6 months into Francisco building our home, and the experience has been great! Francisco is on top of everything, the work is all top-notch (and I am a woodworker - I know good work), and progressing rapidly. Francisco is great to work with, he calls at least every week to update us on the progress, and has great suggestions to make our home even nicer. He is been with us from the very beginning: evaluating the lot before we bought it, working out the plans (which we developed with his architect), and situating the home. Now the home is coming together and it is incredible, we love it more each day. If we were to do this again (which I do not anticipate) I would wait for Francisco to be available before we considered starting anything.

Working with Francisco has been a pleasure. He has handle the permit process for our new home which can be quite a challenge at times. He knew where to go and who to talk to. Francisco is on our project and speaks to me on a daily basics. He always answers my phone calls. Francisco works in a collaborative manner and has address all my concerns.

My home is completed and Francisco did a beautiful job. The home is incredible. I would highly recommend Francisco. The home is better than I imagined it could be. Francisco has met deadline, always remembered my requests, and built a home that anyone would be proud to own. I really made a smart decision when I hired Francisco to help me from conception to completion to build my Santa Fe home.

Our addition has just been completed and it is beautiful! We were working with another builder and were just so dissatisfied that I looked for someone else on this website. Francisco got back to me so fast I had barely had a chance to look at my options! Once I did, he was my choice. Our previous builder was so slow to respond and charged so much money up front for just drafting the plans. In addition much of the information they told us turned out to be incorrect. The process had dragged on for 3 months with nothing but plans to show for it. Francisco came in and within a week had gone to the city for initial approval with a whole new set of plans. He kept us in formed throughout the process and was always quick to repond to questions or concerns. His crew is a great bunch of guys that did excellent work. The addition was a stick built adobe style on slab, attached to an old adobe structure on peer and beam and the transitions are seamless. The floor is exactly the same height, the finishes are beatiful and so well done. The attention to detail is amazing, It is truly a beautiful addition and we just love it. We plan to do more remodeling in the future and will definitely be calling on Francisco and his crew again and again. I have to say I was a bit skeptical of all his 5 star reviews but he lives up to them! Well done Fransisco, Benito, Joe, Luis, Roberto, Josea, and Miguel.

Francisco and his team are great to work with, high quality of their work, excellent communication and follow through. We hired them for multiple projects and are very pleased with their work.

Francisco Rueda and his crew were fabulous. I have a finished 4 level patio that is fit for a garden magazine. He was polite, honest, charming and a perfectionist.
