Windows are not what they made me believe

Five months ago, Champion completed a $39000 window replacement project in my sunroom. My windows have been continually leaking since being improperly installed. After three attempts to correct the improper installation Champion is unable and unwilling to correct the leaking. The windows continue to leak as badly as ever and the Grand Rapids office is unavailable and unresponsive. Three weeks ago, after multiple attempts, I finally reached the Champion Corporate Office and was advised that the GR manager would get back to me in 24 hours. The project contractor, Brandon Chaffin, no longer answers my text or calls. After asking about a final building inspection, I discovered the contractor never filed for a building permit. I went with Champion because my neighbors had advised me that they have the best warranty. I am devastated. My windows continue to leak and damage my blinds, flooring, and furniture.

Champion struggled to get our project finished, having to come back and finish the project weeks after the initial install. They quoted quickly, got me scheduled for initial install quickly, and even got the windows in within a day. But when the installer said they'll be back in a day or two to finish the cosmetic stuff... they did not. It was safe in the short term, no damage, no risks, but cosmetically awful. The company was quick to recognize the problem, extremely communicative, and didn't charge anything to make it right. They stood by their promise to make it good for us. They also fixed our torn screen for free; the wind blew a heavy patio umbrella and it slammed into the window, tearing the screen. Side note, not even a smudge on the glass. It is quite handy to have technicians locally that you can just drop in to drop off a broken piece. Overall quite happy but it took a bit to get there.
