This company did make a service call however the tech was not familiar with my equipment even though i was very specific in my request. since that service call the vendor has been very difficult to even get in touch with and has not provided any help or support whatsoever. I do believe the company is in financial trouble and unable to perform as they claim. My advice is to stay away from this group.

I'm really happy I took my friend's recommendation for Central Texas Solar & Lighting. The workmanship of the system they installed is first rate, and their professionalism is at once both excellent and friendly. I feel that the Enphase system and types of panels they provide met the sweet spot for affordability and quality/efficiency compared to others on the market. The Enlighten app for the status and energy consumption details is informative and easy to use. Being electricians at heart I asked them to add an EV fast-charger to my garage at the same time as part of the quote. They did a great job and found a clever solution to running the line across to the other side of the house through a tight attic space. I splurged on adding batteries to my system and they look as great as they work. I'm especially happy to have the Enphase batteries instead of the Tesla powerwall, given current events. During the recent snow storm the system was smart enough to automatically switch from cost-saving mode to full backup mode in case of an outage based on weather prediction info, which was very reassuring and convinced me it was worth the splurge. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Central Texas Solar again for this important investment.

Very professional from the initial consult to the proposal process and in comparing companies, Texas Solar & Lighting was competitive but their knowledge and sincerity won my business and as a veteran, integrity and professionalism is critical as well as communication and they nailes it. The system is now up and running and the Enphase product line is superior for a variety of reasons and the monitoring tools are amazing and I am litterally watching the savings as the system produces electricity and the excess goes back to CPS for a credit. At some point, I will expand the system and add energy storage and Texas Solar & Lighting has my business again in the future.

I want to thank Central Texas Solar for coming out and finally getting my solar panels working again after almost a year of frustration. When my system was originally installed by Texas Solar, they used cheap materials for the connections, which caused repeated faults and left my panels basically useless. Ruben and B from Central Texas Solar were outstanding professional, knowledgeable, and straightforward. They quickly identified the poor-quality connections from the previous installer, explained the problem clearly, and fixed it the right way. For the first time in a long time, my system is finally running as it should. I highly recommend Central Texas Solar if you want the job done correctly the first time. They take pride in their work and don’t cut corners like my original installer did.
