Very competent service. Steven provided us with a contract spelling out exactly the work we requested. His team showed up on time and completed the work ahead of time. The work involved removing a section of the front lawn, and grass side strips, and replacing them with pebbles to reduce water usage. Steven's team went the extra mile by incorporating some of the better sod they'd removed into the remaining lawn in order to improve its look and quality. Their clean-up afterwards was exemplary. Highly recommended!

Steven came over on a Saturday afternoon to provide an estimate on turf removal and landscaping of our front yard. He emailed a detailed quote the following morning which, thankfully, met our budget. California Palms Landscaping was one of six companies (I know it was a lot) that I asked to provide us with estimates for our yard. After each company arrived, I usually had a good idea whether I could work with them. And if it was a â maybeâ , I emailed a quick question to await a response. Stevenâ s quote was comparable to one other companyâ s quote; however, I appreciated that Steven was extremely easy to communicate with and he answered all my questions rather quickly via email or phone call. The other company was a little too pushy for business which made me a little uneasy. I had asked about several revisions to be made to our contract for which he was very understanding. Steven and his employees were professional and courteous onsite. They removed the lawn and vegetation; and replaced it with mulch and decomposed granite pathways delineated with benderboard. The intention was to create a blank slate so that I could later plant a garden composed of California native plants. I appreciate the hard work he and his employees put in the 3+ days of the project to create a beautiful front yard which we will enjoy in the coming seasons. Steven emailed the receipt the following day with, as promised, recommended locations to purchase plants and additional materials. I am so thankful that I found California Palms Landscaping for our front yard transformation.

I had the pleasure of hiring California Palms Landscaping for a large project at my home. Steven Miro and his team were fantastic. They installed a sprinkler system, plants and sod for my front and back yards. They were efficient, cost-effective and the utmost professionals. I was so pleased with the results I hired them again to install my patio. It looks awesome! I will be using California Palms Landscaping for all of my outdoor needs. I highly recommend you try them.

The workers were very nice and accommodating. They listened to me and provided great input. I like watching plants grow and will be patiently waiting till they get to their full potential. Clean up was very good and any questionable items were readily explained (to my satisfaction).

Steven Miro presented me with a service contract which I thought was very presentable so I hired them. Steven was very courteous, polite and very professional. Service contract said the job would take 3 days and they tried hard to finish in one (1) day. I wanted a jobwalk to see the progress and that's when the issues came up. The sprinklers in front of the house were leaking which was part of the agreement to be fixed and our existing landscaping lights which were supposed to be reconnected were ignored. There was no attempt to reconnect the lights. They ran new wires to new lights. That was easy to do instead of digging to find existing wires. This was a rush job to make a quick buck. Forgot about what was included in the service contract. -fix sprinkler leaks: did not finish -reconnect existing lights to new wiring and transformer - did not complete -seed grass area to cover dead areas - not done Steven said fixing the leak under the driveway & reconnecting the existing lights were not part of the service contract. I have a copy of the service contract and both these were listed. He lied and just wanted a quick buck and walked away without satisfying what we agreed upon. I would be careful using this company. I would rate them lower than .5 stars if I could. Terrible service.

Follow up work took some nudging on our part, but they were very nice and responsive.

Steven Miro was a pleasure to work with. He is a true professional and there was great communication with him. Everything was done in an extremely timely manner, from initial phone call being returned to quote appointment and ultimately to the actual job appointment. The job itself was done exactly as I wanted. He and his employee took an overgrown palm tree out, and then landscaped my patio garden with decorative rock as I requested. Everything turned out beautiful and I can once again enjoy my patio. Would highly recommend him!
