Bruce's Carpet Cleaning

Dear Angi Customer Support, I am writing to file a complaint regarding a service provider referred to me through your platform: Bruce?s Carpet Cleaning (Bruce Fontenrose, Walnut Creek, CA). The service performed at my home was deeply unsatisfactory and raised several safety and professionalism concerns. Here is a summary of the issues I experienced: ? The operator refused to move basic items to properly clean the carpet, leaving large areas untouched. ? He left my hallway wet, and I slipped three separate times as a result. This created a serious safety hazard. ? I informed him that my cleaning crew would be arriving on Saturday, and he insisted that cleaning the sofa would be ?much cheaper? if he did it immediately. The carpet cleaning cost $200, and the sofa cleaning cost $175. I felt pressured and agreed simply to get him out of my home. ? I recently hired Bruce's Carpet Cleaning to clean the carpets in my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the moment I booked the appointment, their customer service was friendly, professional, and responsive. The technicians arrived on time, explained the process thoroughly, and was extremely courteous throughout the visit. They took the time to treat a few stubborn stains that I thought would never come out. The entire house smells fresh and clean without any overwhelming chemical odors.

I hired Bruce's carpet cleaning after another company did a poor job. How I wish I had hired Bruce from the get-go. This Father and Son team made my trashed carpet look like the day I moved in. I'm so ecstatic with the outcome. I cannot recommend them enough. The video footage I have of before and after is far more impressive then the photos I took and tried to upload here but they're too large for this site. You can't go wrong hiring this company.

the price was ok $235 up from $175. just ok. was late by 30 minutes but did reply to our text. not sure why he couldn't text first to let us know so we didnt rush to the house only to wait. increased price after quoting us on phone, prompting us to hire him. was a bit rude at the end immediately after receiving the money, rushed off mid sentence. still appreciate someone did the job. it's labor intensive. will hire someone else next time, even if paying more. low customer service and promptness skill, sketchy on the quote to get business, but did wash the carpet to 80%.

Great service! Great price and fast to get It done

Bruce communicated well via phone & text. He & his son showed up on time and worked efficiently & quickly. They removed 14 years of dirt (& a couple of pet accidents). They treated the carpet with some lemon enzyme spray and the carpets looked almost brand new when they were done. They stuck to the price originally given even though the family room was much bigger than they anticipated. I would highly recommend Bruce.

Bruce is very informative and easy to work with! I would recommend him to everyone!
